Very nice. I believe there were 4 original boats used in the series and 1 of them has been here in Cleveland and Lake Erie for years. I knew the owner of "Lady Vice" back in the 90's when he kept her at the marina I my boat at.
There was one in Port Clinton at safe harbor there is a 5 part video series on CZcams driving it and they go to put in bay and Kelly’s island with it just look up driving original Miami Vice boat also you could buy the 38kv from Wellcraft with the same colors and spec the only difference from a screen use one is the pin stripe the pin stripe is slanted on the screen used ones and straight on the ones people bought the reason is because the studio threaten to sue
That is the boat I'm talking about. I can only imagine the owner now bought it from the man I knew and moved it. He still comes around in the summer and proudly tells everyone it's a Miami Vice boat...@@FastTyler2000
One of the season two TV show boats is in south Florida, the other one is in Ohio being restored currently. There's a difference between the actual TV show boats and the "Miami Vice Edition" boats that were sold to the public during that time. This boat is neither, it's a 1980 that's been restored and painted to look similar to the TV show boats.
A Scarab was the KING of boats in the 80's.
