I had a 1989 red Scarab Panther New in 1989. Raced it in the Trumps War Off Shore in 1989 came in 5th Place in my class. Had the best time ever!
@@MPNNag my dad had 1979 deep vee Excalibur named the Spoiler. He was big into cigarette boats. I use drive it and jump the waves behind boats while his buddies would be shitting their pants and my dad laughing his butt off. I was around 10 yrs old. They'd say "you think he should be driving like this?" He'd always tell them I could drive it as good as he could. 😂🤙

Top speed should be around 100 mph
Nah around 80 mph ≈ 70 knots
900hp with the arnesons drives you’d think he’d be 90-93mph. It takes 1000 hp per motor to push these old scarabs just over 100mph.
