      I had the same situation, heart issues, anxiety and a bunch of other issues. I couldn’t really work much for about 4 months because of the CFS. It took a long time but, eventually my body got back to normal. This is a treatable situation. You got this! I thought it was over for me but, now I’m pretty much back to normal!

    I've been chronically ill for 18 years. Also struggle with exhaustion, but not as bad. Had very severe pain as a child, got better but never cured. Healthy people will never understand just how different fatigue from illness is from normal muscle exhaustion, sleepiness, and daily exhaustion. It's another level of fatigue that just doesn't go away when you lie down. It's a strange feeling, being tired while lying in your bed. I got depression too, that also comes with its own level of fatigue, but it's not the same as illness fatigue. Shit's rough.

      I am sorry to hear you have endured pain and this kind of fatigue also. My daughter and I live with this challenge daily. We have a condition often missed by doctors, Ehlers Danlos Hypermobility Syndrome. When you mention your childhood pain I can’t help but wonder if you got diagnosed and if this might be what you have. Many children go through years of pain without answers or help when they have EDS. We both also have POTS like Ikenna but have not been struck as severe. You are so right about the difference in the fatigue from illness. It is a different animal entirely.
      Wishing you and Ikenna, blessings, healing, and loved ones who can support you when needed.💜

    As somebody with MS, I can sympathize with that feeling of bone-deep fatigue. People say "Well, everybody is tired sometimes!" (with the unspoken "Pull yourself together!"), but they don't realize that fatigue can be much more debilitating than more dramatic-sounding symptoms. Yeah, they suck, too, but it's hard to live a normal life when the smallest thing drains all your energy. So I feel for you, and I'll keep my fingers crossed that your health will improve.

      @mikkareads Před 9 měsíci

      @@sophiahoney9029 MS is short for multiple sclerosis, an autoimmune disease where your own immune system attacks cells in your brain, spinal cord and optic nerves. So far, there is no cure, so it's a lifelong condition, but there are medications nowadays that can slow it down considerably. It used to be that people who had it died young or ended up severely disabled, but with modern meds, life expectancy can be almost normal. There are still symptoms of varying severity, and chronic fatigue syndrome is something that many people with MS suffer from. Today, I struggle to stand, walk or lift anything, tomorrow I might feel fine. It's a bit unpredictable. They call it the illness with a thousand faces, because symptoms differ wildly. I've been blind in one eye before, but now I'm not. I've been in a wheelchair, but I've also had times where I could dance and exercise. So even though I don't have what he has, I can relate to that feeling of struggling with an illness that can rob you of your quality of life.

    Ikenna, I'm glad you're still with us.
    Life can throw things at us that none of us expect, and to see that you're still hanging in there means a lot to me and the rest of your audience.
    That said, one of the biggest things that can make a difference when dealing with a disease or other condition is your mental state. You've gotta cling onto that reason to live and continue to be there for yourself, otherwise your fight will be a lot harder.
    I can hear it in your voice, it's hard to be in a constant battle for your livelihood, but it's unbearable to be in a battle you feel you genuinely believe you're going to lose. You will get through this, I believe in it.
    My family member has been dealing with end-stage renal disease for the last five years. She's had one donor in this time, and the kidney transplant failed. She'd even met a guy, much younger than her, who managed to get a successful transplant after being on the wait list for only a year. She's had over 6 trips to intensive care, with the longest one lasting nearly six months. Yet, through all of it, she still persists. She still continues on throughout the hardship, because in her head, it's all that she can do. Life is unfair, and the best we can do in these times is to make the best of our situation, regardless of it's adversity. Stoicism, if you will.
    Whatever happens, if your current treatment plan fails, don't lose hope. The coming years will be tough, and the only way you're going to make it through is to take in the beauty of the world and to admire what you still have in life. Find something positive about every day. Hold your family close. Find religion if it's in your interest. Otherwise, find something that you can bound yourself to, make it your foundation, and blossom from there. You can do it, we all believe in you. 💯

    More than anything I hope treatment helps you. I also understand having chronic health problems, not so much chronic fatigue but not being able to sleep properly and other problems as well. I understand feeling a lot of mixed emotions around healing. I actually have a session coming up that could potentially really help me heal the last remnants of what I need to heal to be able to function to go to work etc. I’m hopeful but I’m still trying to not think too much about it. I definitely really want it to work because if it doesn’t I’m kind of out of options as well. So I really feel for you Ikenna ❤ and I’ve been hoping that you’ll get better and find relief. I also bought a subscription to fluyo and it looks so fun! But I want you to have fun and rest too, health is the most important thing.

    Hey dude! Haven’t watched you for long , but I saw the first video about your sickness and I knew right away what you were dealing with. POTS and ME/CFS is no joke, I know you know this by now but I really want to tell you that you need more rest then you might think.
    What can happen is that durning periods of excitement and newly found hope in life , what we can do is actually run on adrenaline for weeks sometimes months, basically borrowed time. Like going to a store and buying something with ones credit card. I did this so many times, and it sett me back months , I’m now in remission but it took me years of getting to know my body and limitations before I really started to respect this horrible horrible disease. Balancing love life and health will be tricky, but it does work. Hopefully the treatment you’re going through now may give you some relief. You’ll need time to come back to a functional state, may take months or a year, but respect it and fear it, and during the better days don’t let it trick you into exertion .

      What would u say the order of importance is? Sleep, diet, exercise, sunlight, sweating/detox, community, stress management, spirituality, love, emfs or toxic load management,...what am I missing

    • @thomasetienne02
      @thomasetienne02 Před 7 měsíci

      @@danhle1032 Hi, so all of the things you mentioned will contribute to recovery, but the internal, spiritual shift in my way of life was what made the difference for me, because all the other things I had been trying for very many years and they helped a bit, but were no cure for me personally.
      Note that I am not an expert, I just talk from my personal experience in recovery.
      -So, talking from my personal experience, I would say you can forget about the toxic load management unless you are living in extremely toxic environments e.g. your room is full of mold and I mean not just a little bit or other toxins (this year as a recovered person I have been spending a lot of time in India and spent weeks and months in extremely moldy places and I'm not going to lie that that affected me a bit, but I was still able to work very hard every day and it was an extreme amount of mold, I was literally coughing it out and I was still fit (working 70 hours a week)), so you can most likely skip that and the same applies to EMF (I actually live very close to electricity poles and use devices constantly now for my work, which I didn't use to do before and have no issues whatsoever, whereas I used to be overly sensitive when I was ill.
      -Detox in my experience happened on its own in my recovery, no explicit detoxing was needed.
      -The first few months as a recovered person I didn't really do systematic exercise, just daily things, carrying some things sometimes. After a few months I started light exercise, I definitely do not contribute my recovery to exercise, but now that I started exercising and my muscles and fitness start coming back after all those years, I definitely feel even better.
      -Diet is in my experience not the most important factor and was not the reason of my recovery since there hadn't been a major shift, I had always tried to eat more or less healthy, 3 months into my recovery I started eating almost only vegetarian food, but then I was already recovered. Like exercise, eating healthy can improve your energy in my experience (I eat organic vegetarian food now and try to eat enough and not overeat), but was not the reason for my recovery. Unless you are eating only burgers, French fries and chocolate of course.
      -Improving my sleep actually did help my recovery in my experience, but was also not the ultimate breakthrough. I had a light form of sleep apnea and snored since a small child. I did one year of myofunctional therapy to get over the apnea, but even with that apnea fixed I hadn't made the ultimate breakthrough, but I'm not going to lie that having this fixed contributes to more energy, but in my experience I would have become healthy overall even without fixing it, but then be a healthy person with sleep apnea that has a little bit less energy than average people and difficulty to get up, but having a little bit less energy is not CFS. I had 20% energy of what most people had. But mind, my sleep now is all but regular due to my job situation. I also travel the world which makes me deal with jetlags very often and still I feel better and better every month.
      -For years I had been trying to get enough sunlight. Now I notice once more that getting enough sunlight gives a nice feeling to the body, but is not the cure, nor is earthing (in my experience).
      -Community can play a big role in my experience. I grew up with two traumatized parents and my home situation was quite terrible, both emotionally as well as physically (mom is an extreme hoarder). What helped was decluttering (We did 35 stops at the garbage place spread over almost a year as I could only declutter a little bit at each time because I didn't have more energy). It helped a lot, but was once more not the ultimate breaktrough for me, but definitely contributing to even more energy now. So, decluttering could be a missing element. I recovered despite being in an emotionally toxic environment, so that was also not the key factor for me, but once again, it's definitely nicer now that I don't live in such an environment anymore and it definitely robs one of energy to be in a toxic environment in my experience.
      -I want to tell you that in the last few months I have been working every day except for one day from the early morning until late at night, working 70-80 hours per week and keep getting stronger and more energized every month and feel fit physically. Now, I actually don't have 100% energy if that is the normal amount of energy, I have even more, I have more energy than most people my age now.
      -So, let's get to what gave me the ultimate breakthrough: the spiritual part and let's put love and stress management in this category: the spiritual teachings from Maharishikaa Preeti (to be found on CZcams) of living a life of strength surrender. I learned a shift in my internal posture towards life, my whole way of life shifted and I keep learning more about it and it transforms all my areas of life. I discovered through her teachings that there is a center to you that you can learn to feel and use as your compass for life. I got this very quickly experientially and healed exceptionally fast. I went from hardly being able to change my bed sheets to biking 40km in 4 days after I found this video of her: czcams.com/video/-7rz2sLkNiU/video.html. I continued to watch video after video after that for days and then went to India to learn more about this spiritual yet practical way of living. I went from not being able to do a half-time job to working close to non-stop now. It's a very challenging transformational process, but I am eternally grateful to have found Maharishikaa and her teachings. After years of going to doctor after doctor, psychologist after psychologist and practitioner after practitioner I finally found an answer
      -Note: I don't take any vitamins or other supplements and my eating timings are quite irregular due work.
      -Not only did my physical health come back, my mental health improved beyond belief. My friends and family declared me to be a different person in the positive sense, complimenting many on the many good changes. Depression and burnout seem like impossible for me now for the rest of my life, despite growing up in a family where most people are depressed (my father was chronically depressed) and fours years ago a neurologist wanted to diagnose me with chronic depression as well. I didn't accept that and did not take the meds she gave me because I felt deep down that there was going to be an answer, I just hadn't found it yet.
      -I hope this can help and wish you all the best! Full recovery and even beyond (I feel a lot better now compared to before I got CFS at 15).
