I have a 2018 LT AWD. Then AWD has come in handy during heavy rains, especially on the mountain road I need to drive for work sometimes. Bummed the new generation doesn’t have an AWD option.
Why make the new Trax so similar to the Blazer? Wasn't the Trailblazer meant to essentially be the "baby version" of the Blazer? I have a 2022 Trailblazer RS and I'm wondering if this is a plan to phase out the Trailblazer?
The new model is great looking as compared to the 2023. If I was buying one I would take the 2024 without question. It is slick and has a sporty looking. Nice side by side review.
My 24-year-old daughter bought a 24 just like the one here. She absolutely loves it. I have taken it on a brief drive and am very impressed. I do have concerns with the dependability of the 3 cylinder turbo, but it is very responsive. Great comparison here Tom. It is a baby Blazer at about half the price. I’m not a Chevy guy but this is a great vehicle for the price.
I actually went to a Chevy dealer yesterday for the first time in my life because of Trax and I was impressed. The last American car I drove was a Ford 30 year ago, and I never looked at another American brand again let alone visiting a dealer. Trax and along with the new Buick Envisita are game changers!
Have been driving my 2024 Trax LS for a month, love it. Glad I jumped on it when it was still in transit. They are having a hard time keeping any on the lot now.
Good info here, and I think Chevy has done a bang up job with the redesign. I will be buying a '24 Trax for my Grand Daughter when she turns 16 next May. It will make a great reasonably priced starter car for her. With the price of used cars these days buying a new Trax is a no-brainer. The plan as it stands right now is an LS with the convenience, and confidence packages. She loves the looks, and is so excited.😀
I love the new design of the 2024 however they cut a lot of costs and with it a lot of minor details such as going with cheap hard plastic for armrests and no armrest or cupholders in the back seat. Honestly the only improvement I see is the new design...everything else from the previous year is better.

If you watched other reviews of this vehicle then you would know that everyone basically is in agreeance with the concerns and criticism. While this vehicle looks good there is major room for improvement. Don't like my opinion simply scroll on by. Do better.

I currently own a 24 Trax, I've owned it a week and have put 1100 miles on it, I LOVE it! It's the best vehicle I've driven since my 9th gen Impala

I have the redline 2018 1.4 turbo awd. Way better than new. All the new has is dash... that's it
I have a 2020 I was going to buy 2024 but they didn't have all wheel drive. So I'll stick with the 20 until they add that.
Wish they would have kept it the same length as the older one.
If possible compare it to the new eclipse cross..
