Way cool you know Hirams music ! Don't hear of many who do . He was a complete guitarist , I have most of his solo albums and yes he did the HSH style strats alot , would play a traditional 3 single coil strat too sometimes and later in his career he went to the double humbucker strat in his Cort Signature guitars . Andy summers did a humbucker in his famous telecaster and jazz great Mike stern likes a neck humbucker in a telecaster. I gotta get a humbucker in my one strat in the neck position
