    This was funnier than I don't know what. Pimping in a tractor...(haha). You don't need a left leg to operate this tractor but it would be nice if you want to walk. Had me cracking up. Great demo video. 👍

    Thank you for the post - it is a great tractor. My 4708 was delivered just a few weeks ago, I got the air ride seat and the MSL loader (which is great). I really appreciate all your postings, I think Agco corporate should subsidize you - your original 4700 global series walk around video sold me, it's a shame I had to deal local (Maryland), I would have liked to have given you the business.

      Glad it helped and we recommend buying local. Your Purchase of Massey Ferguson helps us as AGCO can invest in more R&D and introduce new products to help my customers and I can serve their needs. Keep spreading the word and ask you local dealer to get involved with videos too it helps all of us, plus I learn a lot more about the products I sell and they are fun to do. Love to see customer videos too! Those are my favorites seeing Massey Ferguson in action around the globe. You ever get any share them so I can enjoy too.

    I have a 2010 Massey Ferguson 2610TLB, I bought new an absolutely love it! I purchased a box blade, MMM, and a 4 ft brush
    cutter. Tough little unit! This is why I am coming back to MF for another, larger utility tractor for my new angus cattle farm here in WV.
    To help with haying and general work around my farm. Keep up the good work MF !
    And your videos are TOP NOTCH!
    THANKS AGAIN! :)

    great review! i have over 200 hrs on my cab 4710 now and I've been very pleased with the tractor so far. It's the primary chore tractor on my dairy farm and has handled everything I've asked of it with ease. I really enjoy the declutch button the shifter, it almost makes up for not having a power shift. The loader is also the fastest and smoothest loader I've ever used. Overall I'm very happy with this tractor! It made chores fun again!

      That's Awesome to hear! You should do some videos of it in action doing it's daily work. We love seeing Massey's Working the Land! Plus it's great to hear customer comments on what they think of the product. You can do great videos with a Camera Phone and CZcams.

    Thanks! That's one sweet tractor,! Wish I was closer to you, would like to do business with you. my local dealer doesn't know half of what you do. Are you able to widen the front and rear wheels for better stability on steep ground with the loader?

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 7 lety +3

      I took the manual home and read it and went out and learned the features on the tractor. Figure it's my job to learn and help the customer get the most out of their investment. You can adjust the tires...we just got done widening out the other 4700 Cab we sold to meet the customers needs.

      It's what's under that paint and behind the logo that really matters. And Massey Ferguson has some very nice features for the dollars. We been trading for lots and lots of green machines lately. Must be a reason.

      We traded for several 20 & 30 Series too. Customers comment on reliability, performance, features like AGCO CVT, AGCO Power Engines Fuel Efficiency, Torque and the Massey Ferguson Solutions to meet Emissions Requirements. Simple, effective and we actually are getting better fuel economy with the new emission technologies. It's what's under the hood and under the cab that should really matter. Glad I'm selling Massey Ferguson...that have some very smart engineers and ideas.

      The cost to add Factory Installed Wheel Weights is less expensive so we order all ours with 3 sets of Wheel Weights to help traction and to maximize lifting capacity.

    What is the recommended gears for baling hay on the 4710 Massey Ferguson? I have a 4x5 round roll baler a John Deere 458 mega wide plus, string tie.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 3 lety

      That would be based on baling conditions, windrow size and the speed you want to bale. You match the tractor speed (gear) to what you need to do the job in the conditions you have. Once of the nice features of Massey Ferguson 4700 you have 6 Synchronized Gears in each range so you can speed up when conditions get easier or gear down when they require more power and less speed.

    What is the difference in the front axle from the 4600m to thia 4700?

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 7 lety +1

      The 4600 Series uses a Bevel Gear Pinion Designed Powered Front Axle where as the 4700 uses the CV (Double UJoint) Style Powered Front Axle. Bevel Gear Pinion Design offers a slightly better turning radius and higher clearance due to the design of the front axle. This is one of the many reasons Massey Ferguson is continuing to offer both 4600M and 4700 Global Series Tractors. Every customer has different needs and this provides choices to better fit their needs.

      my closest dealer could not tell me the difference between the tractors. Maybe you could talk about the 4600's, 4600m's and the 4700. I would like to know price differences as well. You could uses MF msrp numbers. It would also be informative to hear pricing on different options as well as weights etc. I will definetly look at a Massey before I make any purchase. Information also helps, thank you, the videos are informative

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 7 lety

      4600 was replaced by 4600M which is Tier IV Final Version. They are Light Weight, Large Chassis Utility Tractors that are Competitive with other manufacturers light weight utility tractors JD 5E, CIH Farmall, NH Workmaster, Kubota M Series. The 4700 Global Series is a new product offering from Massey Ferguson that is a Heavy Duty, Heavy Weight Large Chassis Utility Tractor. It does not replace the 4600/4600M Series but offers Massey Ferguson customers a choice based on their needs and wants. With Massey Ferguson we offer a Choice in the Large Chassis Utility Market.

    A dealer about a mile away sells kubota and new holland. I don’t have a gooseneck to haul a tractor and the Massey dealer is 30 miles away...... be nice to be able to get a tractor picked up and taken a mile to a dealer but after seeing DLH Farms with that T5 PTO problem idk if I want a new holland. Don’t get me started on kubota. If I go with a Massey it’s definitely gonna be either a 4710 or 5710 Dyna

      Vahrenberg Implement that’s a good point sir. I hate to say it. But I just bought an IH 1086 to run a baler. Usually I would’ve bought a Massey but I couldn’t pass up the $5500 price. Runs dang good. I’ll have to have that 4710 in the future though. Gonna run an accumulator and grapple eventually. That 1086 is a big tractor and the cab still isn’t any larger than my MF 393. Guess it doesn’t matter how big the tractor is. Old tractors just have tiny cabs. Amazed at how big some of these new tractor cabs are especially in these little utility tractors
