Pepsi and coca-cola both own equal shares in each other. This is called circular ownership. And because of this the "rivalry" between them is just an illusion. If Pepsi does well, then coca-cola makes money. And I'd coca-cola does well then Pepsi makes money. It's all a marketing tactic.

Pepsico didnt sold their Food Service Industry (KFC,Taco B and Pizza H), they tore it into 2 different company one with KFC and Pizza for oversea services and second retain all of them but only of US market.
Wish I could say that about Pensacola, we have a giant Coca-Cola plant so hardly any limited edition mountain dews here

It has always amazed me that despite having a ridiculous amount of capital Coca-Cola refuses to diversify whatsoever. It is like the Saudi Arabia of companies.
All of that and yet waiters still asked me if "Pepsi's okay?" everytime I ordered Coke.
Not only these fact but also they distribute mineral waters
I love coca cola more because Pepsi has this ultra sugar taste but they are very similar
