- In this video I play one of Buxtehude's chorale preludes on the hymn "Kommt her zu mir, sprict Gottes Sohn. As always on played on my home organ with Hauptwerk on the sample set of Nooodbroek.
The registration is that the cantus firmus is played on the Vox Humana 8' with a tremulant.
The accompaniment is just played on a soft flute 8'.
Buxtehude was a huge influence of the young Bach and has played a paramount role in North Baroque school. - Hudba
What a delightful and so calm rendition of this Buxtehude piece 🎶 Could hear it over and over again...
