Never really thought about the indicators but I suppose it’s a necessity by all self driving cars? Else the state of the indicator could get out of sync with what the car is doing.

I promised I'd buy my Mother a Lexus many years ago. Unfortunately, she passed from Cancer before I was able to do so. This was a wonderful gesture by Mr. CarWow to bestow upon his Mum ! She's adorable, it must have been a sweet childhood growing up with a mum like that. I liked how she ignored Matt when he was wittering on, she chose to focus on her priorities instead, which was manoeuvring the vehicle safely. I'd feel safe in a car with her at the wheel.

Hey Mat, It was so nice to see this video and I truly enjoyed it.., thank you.. It was indeed great fun to see the chemistry between the mum and son when he tries to blend the new Tesla in to her life..
I lived in England for almost a decade before migrating to Australia 14 years ago.. and I still adore the English accent and it was indeed a great pleasure to listen to the English accent of Mat and his Mum..
Just less than two weeks ago I received my Tesla Model 3 after a little wait of 10 months..and I must say we are literally enjoying it.. although heaps to learn about the car.. Majority of Australians are still trying to convince the EVs..and it may be because of the long distance between the major cities, vast country sides and limited amount of charging stations across the rural areas.. But I can see a huge infrastructure of EV charging points are being evolved in the near future.. I`m waiting for a long drive perhaps between Melbourne to Adelaide(740km) where there are many EV charging stations available..

12:40 You know, she is kind of right! Coiled cables can get too hot because of the lack of cooling when used with high loads. And they get hot because of...resistance! Won't probably happen with 2-3 coils but better be safe.
Actually they get hot because of inductive heating.

I'm a 71 year old technophile so I'd love a Tesla but my wife is very much like your mom but probably less enthusiastic about all the tech. I think turning off the electric parking brake in the Pallisade is the extent of her interest in learning to drive a new car. I love your mom's enthusiasm and joy. 😍

We were about to get a Palisade, great vehicle but Hyundai dealerships are not trained to cater people who is trying buy vehicles over 50K. Finally booked Model Y and eagerly waiting for it.

Yes. I watch the other episode where she selects it ... and that's about it. She'd make a great presenter and the two of you together made this enjoyable. BTW, the autosteering and self-driving is great once you're used to it. But still always keep your hands on the steering wheel and pay full attention to your surroundings.
It'd be nice to get an update from your mom on how she's getting on with the car a few months down the line
