I'm 64 years old and incorporated all the mobility stability exercises. This is the best I felt in 30 years. First time ever I can squat barefooted to the floor. Workout 5 days a week and tennis twice a week, singles mind you. Knees feel great. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Why is this something I can just imagine randomly seeing in the gym? Like imagine turning around and he is just behind you descending into the squat asking you if you need help opening your hips.

I'm not too familiar with kettlebells, but I finally bought a 50 lb kettlebell. It's roughly the same size as the blue one in the video. I've seen so many people lifting those kettlebells so easily, I had a complex. Now I'm relieved to see it's just 12 kg.

I felt a very sharp pain in my right hip when i tried to see how far down my knee would go.... it doesn't feel like a good stretch, i just hit a wall of pain.
same but i’m pretty sure it’s not supposed to be a stretch, it’s more of a test to see if u do better before and after. after doing what he said the pain lessened
I think the 3rd one is called Pigeon Pose in yoga. Very good for sore legs.

The single leg downward dog with a bent knee will loosen hips and many times reward you with a satisfying crack. Feels so good and will improve hip flexibility fast.

Sometimes opening external rotation is strengthening internal rotation. Reverse Clamshells instead of Regular Clamshells

I can squat deep but i definitely have tight hips due to then popping and some lower back pain on one side but i just cant seem to get the muscles to not be so tight
my left leg falls of all the way but my right hip hurts and doesn't fall all the way
The kettlebell weight shift doesn't work for below average heights
I usually just sit at the bottom of the squat position like Spiderman for a minutes and focus on opening my hips.

There's something going on with my sockets. They always crack when I move them. I did this test and my hips open really wide my knees touch the floor.
We have to do it on both sides or just the problematic ?

Both, otherwise your body will get unbalanced, train both sides the same so the "weak" side catches up on the strong one

PLEASE HELP I’ve done so many stretches/hip openers but whenever I squat I really feel like I cannot open my hips up at all. I’ve had surgery on both hips (many years ago, not sure if this is a factor) been working out for years and my squat has been stuck around the same weight for the longest time it’s getting really unmotivating at this point. I’ve even switched to hack squat for a while and then went back to barbell squatting and i didn’t really notice any difference idk what to do at this point 😔

@Jay-eu5zqthanks mate. Since ive been adding a few of these and just before every work out, and its been slow and progressive, but I'm back here really concentrate on my mobility

Why do they say "open the hip", the hip doesn't open any more than your skull opens. There IS a jaw hinged TO the skull which swings open/close but the skull itself DOESN'T open. Same thing:Legs may be hinged to the hip which swing left/right but the hip ITSELF doesn't open
