@Big Truck Big RV Those tow mirrors are extendable. Just manually pull them out and they will give you a much better view around the trailer. I own a 2017 Titan with these mirrors…love it!
I tow my 7k lbs travel trailer regularly with my 2018 Titan Halfton, has air bags and it tows great.
If it's windy in Texas, Spring is here.

I personally towed a 7600lb travel trailer with a 2018 Nissan Titan half ton. With the addition of an extra overload spring and Timbren SES on the truck, and using the curt trutrack hitch it really towed about the same as my 18 Ram 2500 gasser. I only upgraded because of the low payload rating of the Titan.

The weight of the trailer and the capacity of the truck is not exactly a problem. I've been wondering about the settings for the trailer break controller in regards to size of the trailer.
I've got a 32' Toy-hauler (2021) and an F350 Super Duty (2019) long bed crew cab (4 door) that tows the trailer very well.
My question is could you possibly make a breef video on the settings for the brakes on some common truck/ trailer combinations and a good setting for the breaks?
If this is a possibility due to the vast amount of combinations involved.

While most late model half ton trucks have tow capacity near 10,000 pounds they limit towing to 5000 pounds without a weight distribution. If that trailer were loaded you would be overnight without weight distribution.
Very informative thanks Ordered a power wagon to tow our 22’ imagine travel trailer can you see any issues I may encounter with this setup Trailer as roughly 6500 lbs and going to put a weight distribution hitch 10,000 lb rating thank you for your input
Weird, donf know how i missed this video, as I've been following the titan vids, but this one is three plus days old. Must have had a long nap. This truck is equipped with anti sway control. The mirrors also extend
I take it the trailer fell back in line nicely and didn't fishtail back and forth, since you didn't mention it.
My biggest complaint with the two mirrors is I wish they were just a little taller. I had a 2016 GMC sierra with the tow mirrors and they definitely had better visibility than the Titans. Overall as a whole though, the titan with the nine speed transmission tow package etc. out tows my old Sierra without much effort.
JD you know as well as anyone that the biggest threat to towing a trailer is the wind. I noticed in your video you weren’t going very fast and there wasn’t much truck traffic.
In a crosswind situation towing a trailer the semi’s can really make it scary.
We ALWAYS study wind conditions for our route BEFORE we make the decision to move our trailer.
I have the 2021 pro 4x and about to pick up a 20ft travel trailer 3900lbs. I wonder how it will handle the freeway going 55mph (No WHD Sway bars). Or should I take the back roads?? Thank you.
One thing you should remember is that not all trailers have brakes on them and the only way to straighten them out when they start swaying is to try and speed up which basically is doing the same thing as hitting trailer brakes but only using the trucks motor and transmission to pull it out of the sway This is done better if you have a good bit of horsepower and torque

I like the Titans. It’s a shame all the Nissan Stealerships in FL keep adding “market adjustments” above MSRP, at least 5k. Steers me right towards Toyota.
I just got a 2020 XD SL from a Chevy dealer in Florida. No dealer fees. No markups. Stole it for 44000. Only 30 k miles

Forget about it. It's not a 3/4 ton diesel and will not pull my 5th wheel.

Those with leaves are live oak trees. They shed leaves early in the spring, and put new leaves on almost immediately.
Mainly mesquite. They shed everything during winter but are very much alive.

Why dose it look like a Ford. Did Ford do the fit up like they did for the Mazda Pickup. The one that was a ford ranger copycat.
Since Ford Sells more F150s than any other truck manufacturer it was Nissan’s intent to lure some of their perhaps dissatisfied buyers. Evidently that strategy didn’t work as they have cancelled Titan production in 2025. By all accounts the Titan is an amazing truck with a loyal following. And it’s ALL Nissan, nary a Ford part in it.
