According to fanfic writers, Venti smells like apples and cecilias. I think he smells like that alcoholic uncle that you love very much but when he tries to hug you, you try to make up an excuse to get away because he reeks of cheap booze and BO💀
he smells mainly of alcohol but if you get close enough and somehow manage to block out the smell of booze, you can find faint scents of cecilias. its VERY hard to smell tho

I don’t think BO because he’s technically a wind spirit that shape-shifted, so he smells like whatever he’s around a lot/has on him. 😅
I think for Nahida since she is the Dendro Archon that she would smell like the flowers you loved as a kid and each person would smell a different flower when they are around her.

Fun fact Gorou has multiple tidbits about how he takes verry good care of his hygiene. (And advises the soldiers to too) plus with the added bits of him mentioning how he needs to take proper care of his tail/ making shure it dosnt stay wet.
I’d say he likely smells like either generic soap during wartime. (Cause he’s a shy guy about the aspects like his ears and tail) but out of it he probably has a verry nice floral or forestry soaps and conditioner he uses.

Wanderer would smell like a second hand clothes shop, he got his clothes second hand so they would have a human smell.
Layla would smell sweaty but you can tell she had like a basic smell on its just she's fell asleep so often and she didn't want to shower.
Mona smells of like a very strong scent but you can't make up what it is because she got the rest of her perfumes and just mixed them thinking it would smell nice.
Faruzan has a very old mature floral lady scent.
Extremelty specific, but Faruzan is giving Chanel nº5 old lady-type smell. Like the perfumes your grandma kept in the closet.

And I didn’t say he smells bad all the time. Baths are a thing, there will be times where you get dirty and smell gross, but then you can bathe to get clean and fresh again. I imagine Zhongli has the common sense and respect to bathe, but even the best smelling people probably smelled bad for at least a moment (sweating, getting dirty doing something, etc)

I think the Archons would kinda smell like their perspective elements. Venti would have the odor of whatever environment he's in (typically wine perhaps). Zhongli would smell like the inside of a cave(no distinct odor just very stuffed air). Ei would smell like how anything electronic would smell, slightly irradiated. Nahida would smell like nature or whatever environment she's in, similar to Venti but the odors clearly belong to Nahida and not the environment.
No way, Alhaitham would smell SO good. He is a man who obviously takes care of himself and loves the fine things in life.

Venti - A bunch of alcohol. There is so many different kinds that you can’t pinpoint any, just that they’re there.

Oh my god i absolutely adore the headcanon that Albedo smells like nothing, because imagine ppl arround him have a small feeling something is wrong... but they can never pinpoint what it is and are always just slightly unnerved but cant say anything because "it must be my imagination", but it's just that he has absolutely no smell.

I've been using other parties for friendship but my usual main is
Kokomi - 100% sea smell but like a nice ocean breeze with a slight hint of fish but not gross
Yelan - I'd say she smells nice, kind of basic or fancy, maybe a bit like drugs too.. Like the smell of the criminals she captures rubs on her a bit
Albedo - Chalk straight up chalky, stiff smell but also surprisingly pleasant
Kazuha - Fish, seafood and travel. Maybe a pine and ocean scent

@tonykowalski4189 Mono hydro basically except Albedo really just boosts Kazuha's em so that the team does even more damage. But it's basically just boost the dmg and them deal as much as you can. Kokomi skill -> Albedo skill -> Albedo burst -> (Kazuha skill if needed) -> Kazuha burst -> Yelan burst -> Kokomi burst and then just normal attack the enemies. Yelan and Kokomi's bursts really just do a lot of damage fast so it's not hard to defeat the enemies in even just a few seconds. If the enemies have remaining health then just use Yelan CA and skill and they should be dead. If not (like doing spiral abyss where there's multiple waves) then just repeat the process (at this point I usually skip Albedo and Kazuha bc I'm lazy).
I've never gotten past floor 12-2? but I clear floor 11 with them all the time still..

Nahida: Flowers and rust. (From being locked up so long)
Sucrose: How DARE you two. Sucrose smells delicious, like flowers (maybe there’s a slight chemical scent)
Baizhu: medicine. The nasty one that burns your throat
I guess Zhongli might smell like.... if you try to make Fire with two Rocks. That smell. Rocky.
Also you forgot to ask how Lumine/Aether might smell. I think they might smell like..... something you never encountered before, but you think it smells familiar.

Kokomi: I feel like she has that smell of slightly wet clothes, like she's been in a clean pool of water not long ago and didn't properly dry off.
Lumine: smells like whatever body spray she could get in the local small store because she's travelling constantly so had to pick something up.
Hu Tao: a mix of dirt from digging graves and a polished wooden smell (hear me out) becuase of the coffins

Barbara smells like dish soap, but the good ones
Diluc (I'm biased because he's my favorite character) smells like really expensive good smelling cologne that Kaeya borrows sometimes when Diluc isn't looking
and Tighnari smells like burnt mushrooms
I'd like to think that Yelan smells like fancy name-brand perfume like Gucci or Balenciaga because she arrested people who stole these perfumes and be like "I'll take these to the police"... but she just keeps the stolen perfumes

My personal headcanon is that Yae Miko always smell like really strong but really good perfume , like its good but it smells like she bathes in it. Just because she likes to make sure she smells really nice but if you've ever pet a fox you know they smell terrible.

Beidou: For sure booze, but also vaguely like whatever Ningguang uses, she steals some from her and applies it very lightly.
Ayato: I'm getting dryer sheet vibes from him. Or like an old office that smells like cleaning supplies.
Barbara: I feel like she smells like water. So no strong smell, really, just... w e t .
Last one is a toss-up until I get a character I'm satisfied with to completely fill the role, so;
(Also don't judge my trash luck LOL)
Xiangling: I agree she smells like whatever food she was making, but more specifically she smells like herbs that she uses.
Amber : She smells like oranges/cheap body spray
Kaeya: He smells like he puts on WAY too much cologne, probably pine-scented. And booze at night.
Xinyan: She smells like spicy/fried food, similar to Xianling except she wasn't the one cooking lol.
It wouldn't surprise me if yelan minimised her scent to the point its never really noticeable so her enemies can't track her down whit smell
My four mains and what they would smell like (some of them I would differ from what Koomax and Danny said about them).
Raiden Shogun: I always view her as Ei in my party, and I do think she would smell pleasant and lightly flowery like Danny said, like sakura blooms, but not too overpowering. (good thing too cus allergies, amiright?)
Hu Tao: She would definitely smell like what a funeral parlor would smell like, not necessarily embalming scents, but like the funeral parlor that puts quite a bit of air freshener out there to cover up a certain something else happening in the back room, if you know what I mean.
Zhongli: I think he would smell of Old Spice. I know they said in the video that the Wanderer might smell of that, but you KNOW Mr. Zhongli is gonna smell heckin fine with some cologne. He has his hair, outfit, and voice all put together and you just KNOW he's gonna smell like that good Old Spice cologne that reminds you of d̶a̶d̶d̶y̶ ̶i̶s̶s̶u̶e̶s̶ - uhm I mean it reminds you of something comforting and cozy.
Kazuha: He smells like not just like an ocean breeze, but like trees, flowers, outdoors, and everything good. ☺

I liked your take on Diluc. I would say that he and Zhongli have a similar air to them. They are both distinguished gentlemen. They would definitely be aware of not having any offensive odors. I think Kaeya would be on point with current trends and would be very present to be around. He has to spend a lot of time extracting information from informants after all. Alhaitham smells like a library. I think Razor doesn't smell bad just more like dust(maybe pine needles) from sleeping on the ground/out in the wild. Thank you for the laughs. Great video!!

I personally think Hu Tao would have like an ashy smell also something sweet like blossoms (like the ones on her hat).
I think Nahida would smell like after it rains in a forest and tree sap or when you walk into a plant shop (soil and fertiliser etc)
Fischl would definitely smell like hairspray, but maybe also like a bird smell coz of oz. And I feel like she would try wear some sort of exotic perfume.
And Barbara would just smell clean. Like clean clothes or something idk

Cyno: sand and evaporated sweat so only the salt crystals and grime remain
As someone who did a chemistry degree and then worked in a couple of labs afterwards I'd say Albedo probs smells like college/uni laboratories. Like I'm not sure how to describe it but the old wood benches and acetone with the burning smell of bunsen burners? That kinda stuff.
Zhongli wise it was shown he's knowledgable about perfumes etc so I don't feel like he'd have old man smell, more like whatever is popular with men at the time so he blends in better or something with an earthy undertone, I kinda lean towards sandalwood and wet rocks but that's just me. xD
Yanfei I would say, old books with a hint of feminine like floral perfume but defo getting more books vibes.
Nahida I think as you said flowers or like that smell when it's been really dry and then it rains loads the smell tress produce when that happens, yeah I love that smell.
Wanderer smells like the AA batteries you never took out of your old CD player.
So my main team (currently) is Cyno, Tighnari, YaoYao and Kokomi. To me, Cyno smells like warm summer sun and some earthy type scent. Tighnari is a whole flower garden, more specifically Lavendars. YaoYao is definitely has a macha/green tea type smell. Kokomi smells like an oceanic candles you get at the good candle store or the beach, that nice sea breeze beach smell
My current team: Al Haitham, Zhongli, Thoma, and Barbara
I think Al Haitham would smell like the inside of a library. He's always around books so I feel like he would have that old book smell. I feel like he would take care of himself since he does have a somewhat important position as the Acting Grand Sage/Scribe, but at that point I think he just doesn't care that he smells like books. Kaveh is slowly suffering because of this smell. (Side note: I am waiting for Kaveh and will be using him so I think that he would smell like some kind of stone or nature since he's usually making buildings. Either that or Dori made him so destitute that he can't afford things like shampoo and conditioner. If he was able to though I feel like he would smell like what ever shampoo he could get his hands on. Either that or he wears cologne.)
Zhongli: My gosh this man smells like osmanthis wine /j. In all seriousness I think that the Archons smell like their elements since they have their element naturally rather than a normal vision. So I think that Zhongli has this earthy smell like a mountain.
Thoma: Definitely cleaning products from working at the Kamisato Estate. He's cleaning so much that he always smells like cleaning products. If he was cooking though I think he would smell like whatever he made Ayato and Ayaka for dinner that night. Either way Thoma smells nice regardless.
Barbara: I feel like she smells really nice. Like lavender or something since she needs to keep a good appearance for the Church of Favonious. Barbara probably takes really good care of herself because of that fact.

Kazuha: my man is really light. Like a very slight smell of salt water and fresh laundry (my man takes care of himself/clothes)
Xingqiu: he’s giving “whitewater raft” soap. Or maybe pumpkin spice if he’s feeling sweet, it depends on his mood.
Haven't watched the vid yet, but some time ago I had a hc that alhaitham smells like something. Idc if its sweat or really strong perfume, I just had that hc for months and it was horrifying, especially because I was simping for him at the time and still do... Thankfully I don't think of him this way anymore

my main party is heizou, thoma, xingqiu and shinobu, so we smellin GOOD. vanilla and cinnamon but kinda bath and body works on account of xingqiu and shinobu (and there is always lotion on hand)

venti- sorry to any venti mains but this man reeks he doesnt shower and he smells like an alcoholic. also smells of grass

heizou - i think he smells a little bit summery. wild strawberries, heavy ozone, and strong ginger tea. subtle but complex
xingqiu: light and fresh. fine silk, lotuses or water lilies, quality paper, and soy candles lol
raiden: the shogun smells like cold air. ei smells very faintly of sakura blossoms, crackly electricity, and copper wire
rosaria: harsh and sophisticated. cedar smoke, aged wine, heavy rose perfume, and metal. definitely metal lol

Childe has like, a really musky scent due to sweat and grime but he's got good hygiene and with his social skills he's smart enough to perceive other's reaction to him and will be decent enough to put on cologne, especially if it's like a meeting or get together

I feel like collie would smell like fresh cut grass. Dori would smell like some extremely expensive but overbearing perfume, TBH i feel like Razor would smell like pine needles. Zhongli would smell like grape flavor Cigars.

My actual main team would smell terrible (dirt, fish, a nice beach and a 10 year old kid who just rolled in grass. Take your guess) so I’m going with my main team on my alt account,
Scaramouche - I agree with koomaxx on this one, axe and old spice (whitewater, fresh ocean breeze, my brother went crazy over it in middle school)
Faruzan - light and sweet flower scent or maybe nike women’s, just gives me the vibes yk
Barbara - really good shampoo and body wash, Hawaiian flower, mint, coconut or watermelon. Aloe vera anti-perspirant
Amber - a forest after it rained, fresh cut grass. Basic but strong shampoo and maybe lotion that smells like fall fruits
Beidou smells like Juicy Couture and Booze
And like most lightning users(my HC) when shes angry you can smell smoky ozone like before a storm.
Barbara prefers light floral perfumes, but always carry a hint of vanilla on her from baking. Her vision smell is the scent of plants awakening after a rain, petrichor.
Kazuha often smells of sandalwood, it reminds him of his friend. His vision smell is of the scent of fall leaves in the air after his confrontation with the Shogun it gained the ending notes of burning leaves.
Diluc has different colognes to wear depending on the occasion. When hunting Fatui members he wears his Fathers cologne 9Dossier Woody Sage0 to compound his Daddy issues. As the dark knight/vigilante he wears an ambery sage, For negotiating big deals/important events he wears Versace Eros Flame, because Kaeya got him that(Kaeya wears the normal blue Versace Eros). His vision smell is that of a burning forest, an ash that chokes the lungs of the breather.

So in NA (my main) we have
Yoimiya: Fireworks, combined with some kind of spice. There’s probably a hint of sweet rice somewhere in there as well
Kazuha: Depends on the recent weather. He often either smells of sun kissed fabric or rain, but his smell is quite mild. Of course, though- he does mostly smell of sea breeze after spending a time aboard the Alcor
Zhongli: Very earthy. A hint of osmanthus, ofc. He has a solemn smell; idk how else to describe it. I just know the smell of the funeral parlor rubs off on him, to an extent
Kokomi: A hint of sea breeze. Mostly smells of books, and probably incense (yk, divine priestess shenanigans)
Meanwhile, in EU
Cyno: he has a musky, slightly earthy smell; since he’s often out and about in the desert or the rainforest. Sometimes, when he spends a long time going over reports, he smells like books and parchment paper
Yelan: I agree- she has a mature scent, but there’s defined a hint of tea to it
Aether: also has a musky scent. I have a feeling that, on top of his body odor, he smells like… the outdoors. Notes of grass, rain, dirt stand out the most
Noelle: my girl trains a lot, and is an absolute master maid. She’s always running around in an armor. She _has_ to have a hint of muskiness to her. She also smells of metal, but it’s hard to notice unless she’s up close. She also smells like sunkissed clothes

Here's my main team and what I imagine they'd smell like:
I feel like Xingqui might smell like tea. Idk what time of tea, but it'd definitely be tea. Tea, along with coffee, is a very big thing that most bookworms consume a lot, after all. And I think his family is more tea inclined, so he probably grew up drinking it and never stopped.
Chongyun smells like lemons and water (for the popsicles), and you can't change my mind about that. Idk where the lemons even came from, but he definitely smells like lemons. Maybe it's something to do with his exorcism job, or maybe it's something else. And it if it does have to do with his exorcism, then it is definitely a burn lemon smell. Once again, don't ask me why I think so though. He just smells like lemons and water.
Xiao... I can agree with your assessment about how he smells, but I also think he smells like dust. Monsters fade into dust after killing them after all, and that's his main pastime. Also, I feel like the dark karma that sometimes shows up around him smells burnt. It's almost like a burnt charcoal, and it's so heavy that it's one of those stenches that you can taste, and it becomes suffocating because of it.
Jean smells crisp, like a perfectly folded paper. She's sharp with how she presents herself, and I can't imagine she'd slack on her beauty routine. But I can also imagine that that's one of the very first things she stops doing when she starts working too hard and the only one brave enough to get her to start taking care of herself again is Lisa.

Personally I feel like Alhaitham would smell like paper/books at least at some specific time of day. Though since he's buff as heck, I'm sure he smells like other stuff too. Though I feel that he would keep himself clean all of the time.
