Tighnari's sassiness is so funny because its so unexpected. It brings his character more dimension.
He may be an academic ect but it doesn't define his personality.
I assumed when the art of him was released that he was just gonna be this sweet adorable boi AND THEN WHEN HE ACTUALLY CAME OUT HE WAS SUCH A LITTLE ASSHOLE AND I LOVE HIM FOR IT
He’s not just an academic, he’s a realistic portrayal of one. He’s like the biology version of my European History professor who was kind of strict but beloved by the class for being _amazingly sarcastic_ and having strong opinions on very specific things (for example, his hatred for the term “Middle Ages”)
Bro his Light Hit lines being "Excuse you?" And "Who do you think you are?" Sent me. Like everyone else is like "ow that hurt" or being tough, this mf is like "who said you could hit me"
Scaramouche takes himself so seriously that he just becomes hilarious unintentionally

Traveller is also underrated for their meme of pulling out the fatui mask for no apparent reason.
Like back in the first lantern rite when Paimon was trying to roast a treasure hoarder that they would never do anything so shameless that would require them to cover their face. Pans over and the traveller is there wearing that fatui mask Diluc gave them. And Paimon just flips off saying, "Really?! I was in the middle of my speech and everything!!"
Also, the traveller and Paimon duo have hilarious voice lines under the Traveller's profile.
Other than Itto's goofy arse, Tighnari's sassy attitude and Scaramouche's deadpan humour, Traveller's got to be one of the funniest characters (Somehow with Paimon if she isn't trying to be a whole stick in the arse)
I personally think that Traveller would be 3rd :D

I replay Collei’s voiceline where she says “cringe” so often. Hearing these characters use modern-day slang is so funny to me.
I also thought it was funny when Itto tried to scare Kazuha, but Kazuha was unfazed and decided that it would be better to literally just pretend to be scared 💀

Honestly Shenhe and Raiden both have some voicelines that are really funny. Especially Raiden, there's such a stark contrast between Ei and the Shogun.

honestly the traveller is the third for me after Itto and Tighnari. Meme faces aside, Traveller has many great dialogue options during world quests and all that
I can recite Tighnari's dessert complaining verbatum. Hands down one of my favorite characters for personality AND gameplay.
I still find Tartaglia talking about toys to Fatui recruits and embarrassing himself funny asf. And I also find him being bantered twice by Scara and him ignoring Traveler while talking with Yoimiya funny
Kaeya has potential to be pretty hilarious because of that one voice line where he goes "eww" with all his heart

Ittos VA is literally the ONLY reason why i switched from japanese to english. I love his voice so much, i also liked him a lot in Persona 5 as Ryuji (the characters are also sometimes very similar x) )

Venti is definitely similar to Itto for me where like, if he's in an event I know I'm gonna be laughing.
Childe embarrassing himself in his story quest and acted like he's a toy seller in front of treasure horders, making them confused and him collecting beetles instead of doing his job was funny imo

10:00 (Said in a so serious it becomes sarcastic voice) I must object to your decision on Mona vs Shinobu! I laugh so much at Shinobu corralling the Aritaki gang. Yes, she gets a lot of the humor from being the strait man to Itto's goofiness, but that is still a very important element of funny. I think she should have been third place behind Itto and Tighnari.

Honestly the funniest thing Alhaitham has ever done is "accidentally" take Kaveh's key to their apartment and therefore locking him out. At least I think he's done this.
Also Mona is pretty funny especially after the her story quest. I loved every line she had in the Golden Apple Archipelago and her opening line when you fight her in the TCG is also funny.
Itto is by default the funny man, nearly everything he says and does has some kind of comedic value. Everything except for that one chunk of his hangout (Mostly cause it made me sad) is funny lmao.
I actually forgot about that taco bell commercial because. I watched it at such a young age and now remembering it makes it twice as hilarious.

I have few things to say
1. When doing Tighnari's elemental boost one of the voicelines you can get is "I HEAR EVERYTHING!" And it always makes me laugh.
2. If you listen to Layla's voicelines then you know she sounds like a drunk/hung-over woman who just remembered all of their responsibilities. I'm not say she should have won, just that she should have gotten past Sara (my opinion)

Okay, I might be the only one, but Wanderer gets me on the dark humor department. Like...
I feel like, the more we get to know him. The more he will have these really off-color jokes that are just so fuck rdd d up you have to laugh. He's that kind of friend that you have that has these all these inside jokes with and were like.... half the time you're borderline insulting each other and laughing your asses off.
Tighnari’s pile of sass and sarcasm to such an extent that I’d almost have to rank him over Itto. Itto is funny, by all means, but sometimes it falls into the laughing at him rather than laughing with him, especially with how they hammed up his character in 2.7. Tighnari is just tired of people’s bullshit and it’s beautiful.
I would honestly rank Kazuha higher too. The drunk scene was amusing, but the top tier moments are him threatening to brand a guy for stealing and when he just yeets a drunk man over his shoulder to bring him back to his senses. Kind of like with Tighnari - the juxtaposition of his personality with some of his actions and voice lines just kill me lol.
Diluc should have been at the top. The moment he said that if he ever had the choice of eating a pyro slime alive or joining the fatui he'd rather be crushed to death by a meteorite. Just listen to his other lines. That guy's a total meme
