Had to work overnight the other day and had the movie playing in the background. Just the music was a treat. The ending was perfection. They really don't make them like this anymore. The score matching the feel of the scene. Just perfect.

Not gonna lie, I love all three 1980's Indiana Jones movies (and I don't _hate_ Crystal Skull), but I really feel like the Last Crusade has got to be my favorite. Love the father/son dynamic, a lot of the humor lands really well, and the Grail theme is just so overwhelmingly good. Could just be because I'm very Christian, but I dunno. I just like this one the best.

One day in the future they will talk about great composers: Mozart, Beethoven, Williams.

The Raiders of the Lost Ark soundtrack is extraordinary. Just superlative and superb. Nothing else like it, really. The soundtrack for Temple of Doom is very good. Not nearly as many discernable themes incorporated in it compared with the first. This one, however, aside from the grail theme sounds very generic almost, as if, Williams lost interest. Very disappointing overall. Each film, unfortunately, became less and less interesting as well. Sad really.

Strongly disagree. I think the 3 scores are absolute masterpieces, and I love Last Crusade's, don't find it generic at all.

I disagree, with Sean Connery as Indy's father, the humor being well placed and not overdone, and all the other aspects I find appealing to in my opinion, this movie barely tops Raiders (imo). Also, this film is one of John Williams best works in his career, its up there with Raiders 100%
