    Hi, your videos are really helpful, if there was a comparison question, how would you structure it, in terms of factors or information. Thanks :)

      I was also curious about how u would approach this / what u would actually write in each para

      Hi, I'm really pleased my videos are helping ☺️. A Gender Theology comparison would be a tricky question. I would pick two themes from each D/R and compare them. This would mean that there is a lot of content you will not use but it would be the only way to compare both with evaluation. So for example compare why R believes Christianity can be reformed whereas D does not :)

    If there is a question asking about whether a male saviour can save women, would we only need use ruether? or would we need to bring in daly/ any other thinkers. If we dont need to would you still recommend it? Thsnk you so much for your videos by the way they are the best!

      You could use Ruether and/or Daly. Ruether is easier but you could make lots of links to Daly and anyone else too. As long as clear how your argument is relevant to Q will be awarded marks :)

    Hello, How many paragraphs/points should you do for a compare question?

    • @IThinkThereforeITeach
      @IThinkThereforeITeach  Před 2 lety

      Hi Matilda, I normally recommend my students to focus on three themes for each side of the compare. Any more themes and you will not cover them in enough detail, any less themes and you run the risk of not covering enough content :)

    hi, so what your talking about at 6 minutes, is the David messiah what people expected and envisioned Jesus to be but Reuther argues that in actual fact he was a servant king?
    thank you!

    • @IThinkThereforeITeach
      @IThinkThereforeITeach  Před 2 lety

      The Davidic Messiah was the prophecy, a strong, male, conquering warrior not to be confused with the Jesus we got, a servant King who was there for everyone :)

      @@IThinkThereforeITeach ah thank you!
      So society was expecting a strong king like David Messiah but Jesus was actually a servant king?
      How could you compare this to Daly?
      Thanks for your help!
