CORN MAZE BRIDGE - Building at the Patch!

- In this video, we work on constructing a fun attraction inside the corn maze! This year, we wanted to make the corn maze more of a game-like environment, so we decided to place a bridge in the maze! The bridge sits on top of the corn, so you can see the entire patch from the summit!

Looks like a fun place to be this fall. Maybe you can put a map on the wall of the farm store so visitors can put a pin 📍 of where they came from to visit. Be a compliment to the map that you have on your shop wall. Just a thought. Wishing you a big turnout this fall and much success.

Spindles. That’s the word you’re thinking of. The stair “frames” are called risers & the step “platforms” are called treads. The vertical boards between treads are called kick plates. I’ve done a lot of work restoring our stairs in a house built in 1898.

Great job building oversight? I am feeling your hot summer with humidity if makes feel better we having awesome 20 oC days here in Australia with little cold mornings although we did have weird day of -6oC morning early this month. Yes I back in T-shirts LOL even shorts n wasn’t playing AFL either.
It was not fun in the Maze, no wind, very hot and high humidity.

Did you have stamped drawings for the commercial stairway?
Since it's not in the ground just for shits and giggles I'd put 12 foot boards on the short sides of the posts sticking out on the ground for more stability 4 feet wide if you get a good wind might end up on its side

My son leaves for college next month. If he’s half as driven & dedicated as Ben, I’ll be happy. So proud of you 2! Building up 2 businesses in the first year of marriage is amazing! Been talking my husband into leaving the communist state of PA & moving to S. Dakota. We’re looking into an area close to Iowa. Maybe I’ll get to visit the patch someday!
