- We are finally back to planting corn after a month delay! We get the chance to put in the rest of the corn but just not in this video! In this video we update you on what we are adding to the pumpkin patch this year and how we plan to plant the corn maze. It's a major change from last year!
Kolton comes down from Koch Agronomic Solutions and we check out how the trials are doing and find some really cool evidence that PROTIVATE is helping both our corn and soybeans this year! - Zábava
Wow way to go Molly. Driving the truck and trailer and getting it done.
She can even drive the long gooseneck!
Thanks Ben and Molly. Things are looking good. I just love how much you love your dogs.
On a personal note, when are you two going to start a family.
You seem like a great couple that are ready. Take care, hope you start getting some timely rains.
Thanks MOLLY AN BEN !!
👍👍👍
Great video and another year of learning and trusl and ertor !!!! I think the lawnmower is the best idea, maybe i the future you could have a small utility tractor set on GPS 🤔 you are young and will get a chance to learn many more years 😅
When checking root mass, I think you should use a some type of pitch fork because to much is riding on one handed shovel?? Thx Ben and Molly
I would agree that could help!
i had a friend add Indian Corn to his pumpkin Patch last year he did very good on selling to the public
We sold some ourselves! Tried to grow it and struggled with it.
Thanks for sharing Ben!
You bet!
May mother nature be more cooperative in coming weeks. Have you thought about putting down straw or biodegradable plastic mulch for the pumpkins/flowers?
Yes, but for now we are staying away from that stuff!
See, you are a mazing!
Like what you did there😊
Punny!
Could you explain end rows to me?
Hey Ben, what do Iowan farmers do on Halloween?
They pump kin
Is that bad?!!
lol yes
Do you use high end corn for the maze or just what ever is available?
Great question! I look for a hybrid that has a good fall appearance and will stand strong late into the season! I want the corn to look good, not really going too yield!
