Prime’s so excited
and he just can’t hide it
He’s about to lose control
and I think I like it
Great stanza. Although his real name under alias is Nathanial.
Hey someone spelled my first name correctly. Neat
Bro Pikmin 5 on the switch 3 will go crazy
Switch “Three”?
@BrothersCourage Pikmin 3 and Pikmin 4 are 10 years apart so Pikmin 5 probably coming out in 10 years too. Switch 3 will be out by then.
@@issaciams Hold on, was “Switch 3” first brought up in the video or did VERSERAPS brought it up themself?
Honestly, the launch year would be amazing if we get 3D Mario, something Zelda (almost definitely some port), and Monster Hunter Wilds.
I could really use a good Direct right about now.
For the Hero of Time? Yessir.
I really hope we get a Streetpass or something very similar to it on the Switch 2. I really want to be there at the launch of the system and get that sense of community again. I have been looking at all sorts of leaks and rumors for the Switch 2, and I am so excited when they officially reveal it.
1 Grand Theft Mario Kart;
2 Luigi's Mansion: Inner City;
3 Warioware: After Hours;
4 Waluigi Rigs Sports Betting;
5 Kirby Disrespects Copyright;
6 Donkey Kong Feels a little Racist Somehow and Makes Everyone Feel Uncomfortable;
7 Urban Legend of Zelda;
8 Metroid Primal
Very excited for your channel. I can't tell you how jealous I am you get to do this full time and support your family. Kuods✊🏾
Ideal launch line up:
Metroid Prime 4
New Mario/remake
New Zelda/remake
Xenoblade Chronicles X/X2
Pokémon Legends Z-A
GC NSO
Release a bunch of huge games at once? Never gonna happen.
@@Grant-wy4uu I never said they all had to be released at the same time
@@elementus2857 that's what a launch lineup is
@@Grant-wy4uu These are things I would like to see in a launch line up. I never said that all had to be in it at the same time.
@@elementus2857 I understand that. But a launch lineup would mean they are releasing at the same time.
Launch hopes:
[Day One]
*3-D Mario
*Zelda Upgrade
*Some weird Wii Sports like game
[Within six months]
*Mario Kart
*Metroid Prime 4
*3-D Donkey Kong
*Animal Crossing
*Pokemon
[Within two years]
*Splatoon
*Kirby
*2-D Mario
*Mario/Zelda Ports
*Some weird unexpected thing
Also I appreciate the end little monologue. I'm very excited for it too. It's about time for that magical new console feeling.
I honestly think the plan coming into Switch was for the console to have a whole new Mario Kart but it was going to be a midcycle title so the ported MK8. Then the sales of MK8 were so high it pushed the new Mario Kart entry to be a lunch title for the new system. Going out on a limb I bet it follows the Switch pattern and drops within the first three months of the system if it isn't just there on day one.
Splatoon is also a special case. I am deeply into the community and for lots of people it is ALL that they play. The game "ending" gives them anxiety. The gap from 1 to 2 felt close to right for the series. I think 3 was likely planned to be out a lot sooner than happened but it was heavily impacted by the pandemic. The other be g piece with Splatoon is the new entry starts as about 1/3 new and 2/3 port of the previous game. Also while 1 and 2 had a final splatfest that influenced the story for the third game it is not something that directly has to happen. The datamine leaks in the wild for the final splatfest are heavily hinting this one likely won't influence the story.
On the upscale Switch ports I have been convinced for a year now that Totk sold as a full cross gen title with all the next gen features included in the existing license but to be downloaded as a free day one patch on the new system. Pop in your Switch card or sync up your eshop account and you are good to go. Botw I feel is going to have a similar approach but it would be free rather Switch owners can pay for the upgrade, say $20 or people without the original game can buy it as a full priced new title.
Thanks for the video!
Optimal launch:
-Launch with 3d Mario
-next month Mario kart 10
-next month botw and totk remasters
-a few months later Metroid prime 4
-Luigi’s mansion 4 as Halloween game
-3D Kirby for holiday game
-splatoon 4 early next year
Of course we can’t have everything this perfect, but I made sure everything was fully possible considering the different development teams and what they tend to work on
I ain’t see no Monolithsoft or Earthbound. What a disappointing launch. j/k
@@10k-Noodles monolithsoft is busy
Something Monolith Soft would be pretty hype for me.
@@10k-Noodles monolithsoft is busy
Both 3d Mario and Mario kart in first year would be big W
Love this video as always.
Ideal 2025 game list:
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Kingdom
The Legend of Zelda: We Found Kass
(DLC! “Kass Gives Vocal Lessons)
The Legend of Link: A Zelda Tale
The Legend of Zelda, but it’s Warriors to further push the ZeLink agenda
Cyberpunk Zelda (auto-delayed until 2040)
The Legend of Zelda: A Tingle in Time
The Legend of Zelda: More Hero $hit
😂😂😂😂
I’m excited regardless of what we get!
Wtf 😂😂😂😂
1st party launch title predictions
Metroid Prime 4 (NS2 only)
Mario Kart X (NS2 only)
Switch Sports 2 (probably backwards compatible)
Super Mario Open World Title (NS2 only)
Zelda's next 3d title will probably come holiday 2025 as TOTK wasn't released very long ago.
Holiday 2025!? Are you nuts?? Tears of the Kingdom took five years to make, and that was built on Breath of the Wild's foundation!
Even back when Zelda games weren't open world and didn't take as long to develop… Twilight Princess took them a solid THREE YEARS to make!
There's no way they could somehow give us a new Zelda on NEXT GEN HARDWARE in less time than it took them to make Twilight Princess on the GameCube/Wii.
I enjoy your enthusiasm! I'm looking forward to the new Switch and will preorder.
I hope assassin's creed odyssey arrives 🙏🏻
?? Be dope
But HARD X to doubt
Valhalla
Fun fact there's actually already a version of BotW that you can get with all the dlc and patches on the cartridge you just have to import it but it's super cool I'm happy to have it in my collection
I am a lot like you. I get made fun of for being so into Nintendo and being so hyped for their new system and news.
If they just launch with a slew of "safe" remasters/ports it'll be a slow launch.
They won't. We haven't had a new 3D Mario and Mario Kart since 2017. We're long overdue for a game in those franchises.
Very likely Nintendo is going to remaster BotW and sell it for $70. Switch 2 will have BC, but that doesn't mean it will play them at higher resolutions. That should not be expected.
3D Mario is definitely going to be a launch or launch window game. This one doesn't have to get leaked for me to know that.
The 3D Mario team hasn't put out a new game since Super Mario Odyssey. Sure, there was Bowser's Fury, but that was a rather small game that merely accompanied the re-release of Super Mario 3D World. It also had a lot of outside help from other studios, so I don't think this took away from the next 3D Mario's development.
Super Mario Odyssey took just under 4 years to make, and by the time Switch 2 releases, they will have had nearly spent 8 years making it. There is no reason for it to be "delayed" other than Nintendo intentionally be stupid and delay the release so that they could deliberately sabotage the Switch 2's launch. It's coming.
Me too my birthday is tomorrow ,this next switch may bring people together more and I was able too reconnect with this I loved in the past like Pokémon
Happy early birthday!
Happy actual birthday!
Given the sales of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope was not up to expectations from UbiSoft, would argue that it would be a major re-release for the early part of the Switch 2, with some additional content and quality of life improvements.
If they want to be extra, they could include Kingdom Battle too.
MP4, new Mario and some super cool 3rd party game, I am set for months right there and I’d be happy!
If they updated TOTK with higher res and fps, I would buy it in an instant on switch 2.
We’re on a journey. Nate and Noods Go To White Castle! What kinda shenanigans will they get into this time?
I think it would be cool (and makes sense) for Nintendo to pack in the “U-King-O” BOTW 4K port with switch 2. If that really does exist, I think it would be a tough sell (at least at $60) for Nintendo to sell separately especially after TOTK. But having that packed in gets more people exposed to Zelda, would encourage more sales of TOTK (if NSW2 is back compat), and allows switch owners to see how much more powerful the NSW2 is by running one of their favorite games in 4K 60.
I am like you too owned every nintendo console and love nintendo console and i am so excited with the news of switch 2🎉🎉
nothing wong w/being emotional. that is what being human is about
My perfect/predicted (mix of both) lineup:
Release day and month (March 2025):
- Mario Kart 9
- Metroid Prime 4 (Cross Gen)
- New 3D Mario
- Xenoblade X Definitive Edition
- GC and/or NDS on NSO
Following Months:
- Splatoon 4
- New Mario Party
- Astral Chain II
- New Donkey Kong
- Monolith Soft's New IP
- Star Fox Wii U Game returns
- New 2D Zelda Remake
- New Nintendo Sports Game
- Kid Icarus returns as an IP
- Other stuff
By the 1st anniversary, we know these are coming at some point:
- New Animal Crossing
- New Smash Bros (smaller roster but over half is new)
- New Zelda (won't see it for a while lmao)
- Xenoblade X II
- New Fire Emblem
- Pokémon Gen 10
3rd party Support in the 1st year:
- Dragon Quest XII (on console release day)
- XenoSaga HD Trilogy
- P3R and Metaphor
- Yakuza ports
- FF 7 Remake (on release day) and Rebirth
- GTA VI
- New Soulcalibur
- MH Wilds
- Basically Everything in the industry, fr
other:
- The OS is reworked for Switch 2 only to support Themes, folders, better friend list, better audio, etc., as well as a new achievement system that let you gain platinum points, unlock themes, get exclusive icon parts, etc. and a personal homepage where you can use those icon parts and other stuff gained in the achievements to display your favourite games, locations, characters and music, so your friends can see this page/banner when selecting your profile
- All Switch Games are backwards compatible with slight adjustments, and every month they release one to three (more in the first two years) patches for some games to fully support Switch 2, basically a small remaster, plus a few small exclusives features to help people move over to Switch 2 and come back on older games just for a bit to see the difference (that instead of a full price remaster price tag would be cool. or charge like 5$ for the update, that' still ok)
- FE 4 Remake and the next Nintendo Musou (likely the first Xenoblade Warriors or TOTK's AoC but that's harder to believe) will release before 2025 (so this month's direct)
My own wishlist for the launch year would be
1st party
3d Mario
Xenoblade Chronicles 4
New Donkey Kong Game
New Animal Crossing
New Star Fox Game
Pokemon Legends ZA
I also think it's very likely Splatoon, Mario Kart, and Metroid Prime 4 will be in that launch year along with maybe Super Smash brothers. The reason I say that is because so long as their working with Bandai Namco again they have tons of assets they can reuse to speed up development just like they did for Ultimate. It's also why I think there won't be a ton of cuts to the roster even from the third parties. The only ones to be concerned about our Konami's and Microsoft's at this point. Anyways onto the 3rd parties, the leaks are fueling it a bit but I also think these are'nt unreasonable for that year ontop of it.
3rd Party
Persona 3 Reload
Final Fantasy 7 Remake with Rebirth either bundled with it or being released later.
Kingdom Hearts 4 plus actual ports of all the games
Persona 6
And maybe a new Sonic game or even a port from an older game
For the record I do not expect all of these to happen within 2025 only that I think it's possible and therefore doesn't hurt to hope for it hehe. The Mario Movie plus the DK World theme park going to make fans old and New very eager for a new Donkey Kong game and Star Fox is long overdue for one. Even Metroid and F zero got some love with the Switch. I am admittedly on a Xenoblade high as I just got into the series but I just can't picture them trying out a new IP on the console's first year. Save that type of thing for when an install base is built up, even Pokemon Legends as already been established and would certainly help push sales with ZA. If it does turn out to be a new ip I won't be upset and I'll approach it with an open mind, but I also just really want 4 out sooner rather than later.
not likely that 3d mario and mario kart 9 would release the same month.
@@prodbyquick Maybe and maybe not like I said I'm not expecting all of this to happen in the launch year, however I don't think it's all a stretch either. Especially if they can't rely on Zelda to help push the console just yet. Point is I think at least a few of these have a shot of releasing next year and if it is only a few I'll be more than happy while waiting for the rest of it.
@@Cloud-dt6xb Xenoblade 4 to me is not their next game. they'll go back to X before that.
There's no way they'll have a crowded launch month like that.
Remember, the original Switch only launched with Breath of the Wild and 1, 2 Switch as major first party titles. We didn't get our next major first party game until the following month with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
If they crowd up their launch like that, they'll be asking for the system to flop. The Switch spread out their games so that they had one major first party title once every month. Keep in mind, people generally buy one game at a time, not several. That's why this strategy worked.
An easy way for them to surpass MK8 would be adding all the main Smash characters in (Samus. Kirby, all the 1st party names). I literally wouldn’t have bought 8 if Link hadn’t been added in
If they bring in better online and make some kind of ranked it would be nice
7:40 New *Leaf* you mean, and 4 games were after that: Happy Home Designer, Amiibo Festival(aka garbage), Pocket Camp, *then* New Horizons.
I wasn’t counting spin offs.
@@NintyPrime I thought about that, but I’m just saying.
I predict either Monster Hunter Wilds (2025) or Monster Hunter World/Iceborne launching on the new Switch too.
6:30 "Despite other projects"… what other projects?! The Mario Kart team hasn't done anything since 2017! They DID work on ARMS (likely why they ported Mario Kart 8 on Switch… not enough time/manpower to make a new game), but both ARMS and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe released in 2017. The team hasn't put out a single new title since.
Yes, they DID work on DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, but considering how much lower effort these courses were (given that they were taken from Tour), and considering the fact that this team will have had EIGHT YEARS to make a new game by 2025… there's just no way we aren't getting a new game. That's more than enough time for them to go back to the drawing board and give us a brand new base game, and definitely more than enough time to account for them developing this for souped up Switch 2 hardware. Mario Kart games only take about 2-3 years to make, so… no excuses. It's a launch or launch window game.
Really hoping for the rumored playable Zelda game 😭
Anna Is the name of fire emblem’s most common reoccurring character. So it’s probably fire emblem. All I’m saying is if something was code name tingle you’d think it was Zelda, if something was code name peach you’d think it was a Mario game. So code name Anna; a character in almost every single fire emblem game. Probably fire emblem.
Though I did have a thought. Do eshop ecosystems have code names? Cause Anna is a merchant, arguably Nintendo’s most prolific one outside tingle.
They don’t typically use character names from games as code names, hence it’s likely completely unrelated to fire emblem.
I think they will offer paid upgrades for Switch games, this isn't the Wii U, we will likely have backwards compatibility. People don't be as inclined
If the new system is going to be named something other than switch 2, assuming that they call the Nintendo focus, maybe the next sports game will be called Nintendo Focus sports. And if it's going to have all that extra power that the switch doesn't have, we can expect it to look extremely impressive compared to Nintendo switch sports and maybe with at least The same number of sports that we saw in Wii sports resort that may also include a lot of the same ones
I know it won't happen, but I want any Tekken release.
7:39 "the launch of New Horizons on Nintendo 3DS"
Oops. Mixed them up...
7:23 Yes… but Splatoon 2 was developed on Switch… the Switch, power-wise, isn't much different from the Wii U.
Not the same scenario. It's much easier to make another game when the hardware you're developing on is basically the same power-wise.
The first party launch titles don't interest me much, if this is true. Mario Kart is worth the buy for me, but that's about it. I still don't really understand the logic behind a BotW remaster, unless they add to it some.
It's not disappointing. Till it comes out, and you realize they were wrong.
I can never get a new console when it comes out due to financial I usually have to wait a year or 2 then hope games go on sale hahahahahaha...wish I could join in the fun!
Pickelball for Nintendo Switch Sports 2?
How avout i give you some content
A buncha years back i watched "the sonic show" tell me about a sonic frontiers leak THAT WAS TRUE
Why is that interresting? Simple
He also said he was on the concept for a mario odisey 2(font know how to write that word rn)
He only covered the frontiers one but if you find the video (i believe it came out in 2022 or 2021) from that guy and find the source (wich will be work) you may find some reliable stuff as there may be concept details to see what direction the game might take if they didnt scrap it
It was some kind of 4chan post i just saw it in a vid and remembered it just now
The sonic show is a youtuber tho
I'm hoping for a new Custom Robo and a Xenoblade X port or sequel
I hope they wait on X actually. I think it will be better for it
I just want a new Mario Kart... No Kart -No buy!
Mario kart will release in the first nine months…an updated version for the Switch 2, lol.
Getting emotional is not unreasonable here especially if your a long time Nintendo fan. The amount of mockery Nintendo has gotten over the years was always a source of aggrivation for me. They got their top spot back with the Wii but fumbled the follow up, this is now their second chance to reclaim their crown for good and thankfully they seem to be doing everything the right way when it comes to their next console. And if it goes well it could be just the shake up the rest of the game industry needs right now
It's like you can see the goalpost and it's just going to take one more sprint to finish strong, helped by alot of the other players tripping over themselves hard so their way behind you. It's already so validating to see the Switch be so successful but knowing that Sony and Microsoft can't even touch it right now because of their own selfish greed and stupidity is the extra cherry on top.
Can someone just tell me this alleged “leaked launch lineup”
Direct incoming
DK!!!!!!!
People are hyping themselves up way too much
A launch i think makes sense is:
3D Mario
Game like sports or 1 2 Switch
A few third parties/Indies
Thats it, thats what is likely.
If it repeats what the Switch launch was, then it will only launch with a handful of titles, then slowly drip feed a major title once every month or two over the course of the console's inaugural year. Makes much more sense to spread out their major releases than to blow their load on day one.
i heard day 1 game, is mario journey open world , just a rumour though from a video i watched a while ago
Is there any proof Midori is correct about any of these leaks?
Yes. She has a highly tracked record over on the gaming leaks and rumors subreddit. She basically has never missed.
I don’t think Nintendo is the least popular. I just think fans of other systems just bitch and moan the loudest. People feel like being an Xbox or PlayStation fan boy makes you a couple extra inches taller. It’s all cool, they all have their perks. Being passionately anti Nintendo is quite embarrassing. That being said, Nintendo just hits different for me. I’d never go to a PlayStation channel though and bitch about the expensive price and shitty games with dope graphics.
Dawn of Mana (PS2) isn’t on Switch. Not that anyone’s losing sleep over that. Game looked like it was gonna be so good, similar to Visions. Nope. Garbo.
Damn
Also first
Spoilers!!!! I love it 😅
The video?
Smash Ultimate 2
New Leaf was better then New Horizons
facts
Yes it really was
I would say u are correct there is way more content on it.
Idk NH is pretty good maybe new leaf slightly edges it out
Nope!
This video is yuck. You’re definitely reading a script. The tone is off putting. Info is good, but the tone is not it
😀🇮🇪
I like how Nintendo clout there games sales... hmmm all the children and Asians on earth have a switch. Only 10 good games yep everyone owns those 10 games!
BOTW getting a re-release on Switch 2 sounds so dumb to me. Why would I want to play BOTW after TOTK came out? TOTK is everything BOTW is but more.... so it's like going backwards. They should make an updated version of TOTK, but it's Nintendo so they do insane nonsense.
I do not like this delivery style. Its very 🥱 for me.
I miss Prime News
Having the greatest console launch lineup is not difficult because they are always bad.
