Facts that is only reason i will buy it.

Things I want:
-backwards compatibility
-improved battery life
-main menu theme
-Eshop theme
-virtual console
-better controllers
-messaging system
-parties and voice chat
-achievements
-and more social services like miiverse and street pass
My number one feature is actually one I'm begging them to retain from the current gen: post-hoc video recording, that 30-second window you have to save video footage of your past gameplay. I think it's invaluable to the social media hype & discussion around games like Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, but also Mario Kart. I still got footage of when I came in first in Mario Kart after trailing in 6th place until the last ten seconds of the game where I managed to surpass the one in first place mere inches before the finish line. You can't plan those kind of moments.
I want more streaming services on the Switch, the ones that stream independent films. I also want virtual console
Let's hope the Nintendo switch 2 still connects to big screen TVS. And of choice let's hope it has the PlayStation 5 games can integrated into Nintendo switch 2 like online games such genshin impact, phantasy star online 2 new Genesis, kingdom hearts 4 now that the Sora amiibo has finally been announced, and speaking of Sora amiibo they should also check to make sure amiibo data can still connect. And also cross platform, cross save and Connections too.
We should have paper instruction manuals with physical games. I miss those.

Real must-haves are backwards compatibility with games and controllers AND continued support for physical games and I definitely wouldn’t downgrade to a non-OLED handheld screen so that should become the base model

i hope it won't literally be a "switch 2" but whatever it will be, i want backwards compatibility. with the switch and the Wii U/Wii/GameCube (hopefully).
Disc2Dock would be amazing, but if they did, it would probably be just DVD movies.
Corrections:
31: The Switch has a 720p screen. A 1080p screen would be an improvement over the current Switch.
58: The Switch has an SSD, but it's the old style. What you want is the new NVMe type of SSD.
As long as it's 1080 on the TV, it doesn't need to be in handheld. Vast majority of people can't tell the difference between the two.

I would really love something like achievements to come to switch 2.
I mean how cool would it be if you can get bronze stars, silver stars & gold stars if you complete something in your game.
Trophy/achievement hunting is getting a thing for much gamers these days
they gotta make the switch more friendly, the switch is so bleak apart from the games, UI is sad, it's aesthetic is sad, e-shop is sad, lack of social features is sad... the switch is so bleak, i hope the next switch has more nintendo charm and feels more alive

This is why the Wii U could've been sold better if the marketing for it wasn't so bad cause everything we want for the next nintendo console was from the Wii U with voice chat,a social media platform like miiverse and even the nintendo Eshop theme was great and loading your Wii U was amazing seeing lots of other miis run down to a game. I just hope they'll make a new console similar to the Wii U
It’s actually kinda funny cause if you slightly overclock the current switch through modding it fixes all current performance issues in games and you can also rob Totk in 60 fps with higher overclocking
Literally all I want:
- Backwards compatibility with Switch (including games and accessories) - ideally enhanced, but happy either way
- more power - probably 1440p 60fps
- don't change the form factor.
- more storage - preferably a minimum 1Tb
That's it.

I Think They Should Do Game Sorting Like The New 3ds
Stuff I want so bad is
Custom themes (aka, splatoon 2,3 themes, custom pictures) with NO mods
2. The unused eshop theme
3. A music for settings
4. Home Screen theme music (relaxing)
5. (yes I agree with the disk thing like the Wii or Wii U)
6. Don’t have to pay just to play with others around the world
7. Better Vibration
I think they should have a feature where you can play all previous console games. Like Wii, Wii U, DS, 3DS, GameCube - or at least put all the games on Nintendo Switch Online, or the eShop.
I don't think thats a possible thing unless you mod the switch to make it play wii games somehow. And I don't know how gamecube would work

Yes a switch two or pro would be a good thing I would play it we need a mario and luigi rpg ports or a new one and definitely need a new open world mario and all the other popular franchises I would love the switch 2 to be upgraded as heck
You can still close the screenshot button from the place where you change the buttons placement in the settings(I don’t remember it’s name)
How did this not include bluethooth, if we had bluethooth we could use way more conterolers like an xbox or ps5 controler and it could connect to bluethooth headphones this would be on the top of the list for me.
It's so funny to me that the Switch absolutely buried the Mii Maker
By the way, 8BitDo's most recent controllers - the ones where you can use their "Ultimate Software" - allow you to unbind the screen shot button as well.
I honestly think that if the Nintendo, switch head backwards compatibility with Consoles that use discs like at least being able to plug in a third-party disk reader, that would actually be nice and also multiple slots so that you don’t have to constantly switch your game cards every time you want to play a game and instead. You can just switch between the inserted game cards
I would love to see various sizes for the system. Something nice would be more affordable games.
something that i would like to see on switch is when you see games in home the corners should be curved instead of lines, that would make me be more satisfied

Ive always thought that it would be cool if the joycons could be like to halfs of a pro controller, and instead of having a joycon grip to conect them, instead they would connect to each other without the grip

I think Nintendo Switch 2 besides BC should also have more power to run more games and the best games at casual market, but it should also enhance the gameplay of older Switch games in terms of power (fps and resolution)

I'm not sure which is my favorite. However, if it has backwards compatibility, a headphone jack directly on the joycons, no more joycon drift, a projector dock, and xbox gamepass then I can safely say I would consider it an absolute victory, and I would gladly pay up to $700 for it!
It mightn't be necessary, but I would love a 120Hz display. If the processor can handle games at 120fps but we only have a 60Hz screen, who would tell if it was 120fps?

79: No. I'm sorry, I've tried phone games, and one of the reasons why I rarely play them and prefer to play on the Switch (or the Steam Deck) is because touch screens are terrible as controllers.
If it didn't have haptic feedback I would agree, it wouldn't feel very tactile.
I would die for them to add streetpass on the switch 2 that is compatible with the 3ds&2ds consoles

How about Nintendo Switch Lab (Similar to XBOX Design Lab, but you can also make consoles) and the future TTYD in 60fps?
Instead of a foldable screen, it should be a deployable screen from the top. You would be not required to use both screens.

Imagine earbuds in the back of the switch, or maybe a pop out keyboard so you could use it as a makeshift laptop. This would mean being able to play Minecraft on the Switch using WASD and would make typing stuff much less painful.

Here's some more ideas for if you make a "100 More Things We Need On The Nintendo Switch 2" video:
A "TATE-Con" which could be used for Nintendo DS NSO and vertical screen games.
The ability to record your entire play-through of a game through a streaming feature without the need for any external attachments.
Notebook/Notes features like the "Game Notes" on Nintendo 3DS.
Wii games on NSO app.
A pick up and play launch game that isn't 1-2-Cringe.
Have "Missions" from from the Switch 1's NSO enhanced to become Nintendo's equivalent to Trophies and Achievements.
Also, controller pack emulation for Nintendo 64 NSO games.
Ability to stream games from the console. But seeing Nintendo's stance on streaming previously, I doubt it.
Different unique gimmick every Nintendo console since the Wii had a cool gimmick to it the Wii was extreme in motion controls and had a hand point as a cursor for the console instead of the traditional console, WiiU had a gamepad which could be played if for example someone else was using the tv, Switch is the first hybrid console
more storage options already exists with sd cards

Also a special slot for a cartidge area for Static Read Write Cartridge for optional special games. An SD Card reader. A System Expansion Port. 4 controller ports. System specs greater then Xbox X. Someone make a mok up of the old NINTENDO64 WITH Floppy Disc add on and make it look amazing! Controllers should have those center touch pads, maybe even with a touch screen instead since their cheap to make these days. They should call it the Nintendo NEXUS. Love the name of it... sounds nice and reminds me of social inclusion. Let Nintendo Switch remain as superior handheld selling side by side. The next Nintendo counsole should make us all feel like gaming went into the future and does things never done before. #FUTUREGAMING something so amazing its never beem done before and im ok woth xbox x specs even of theor outdated by 2027

Actually that will be useless because when the console already has that and to some TVs have headphone jacks
with the theme i think they should take some inspiration from the PS5 and when you are hovering over a game it has a custom bg or just similar colors. ex while hovering over splatoon 2 there is black and green splatoon 3 yellow and purple and so on and so forth, knowing Nintendo they probably just gonna have the feature for Nintendo exclusives and games that bring in a lot of money like fortnite. Also they NEED to have indefinite recording times or have a streaming button like the PS5.
And PLEASE put in magnetic controllers to prevent stick drift

literally all I want is a hall effect joystick, these are the gold standard for quality (drift-resistant) joysticks these days. Or at a minimum, some serious improvements to their joystick design.
That and an OLED-version, I think I heard that they were looking at launching without an OLED version (and presumably they'd add one later like they did with the switch). At this point though I don't see why they wouldn't include an OLED version in the initial launch :c
Everything else mentioned in this video will be "nice to have" (or "obvious", in the case of stuff like "more powerful processor" for the next gen, lol)
But those first two are the only must haves for me to commit to spending my money. I'll buy a switch the instant I can get one with better joysticks + OLED. (or AMOLED :D)
