Hi there Jay. I’m not that new to the gaming community but been meaning to use my switch a lot more so thank you for this list. I might start with Link’s Awakening and then Xenoblade chronicles or Kirby
Link’s Awakening HD is one of the best games on Switch that I played. Kirby is a very easy series, but not a bad game for relaxing with. Personally I would recommend trying out the Disgaea series or Personal 4 Golden now that it has been rereleased on more platforms.

It seems like Nintendo is the only games company who knows what the fans want. And I genuinely hope they get Switch 2 right in terms of backwards compatability, great hardware upgrade and plenty of launch titles. If they do these things I'll buy the system day 1.
That's a straight up lie. While Nintendo makes some really good games, it has had some core fans being disappointed with games like Mario Strikers, Mario Party, TOTK, Origami King, Pokemon in general, etc. Plus, you have studios like Platinum, Capcom, and From Soft who are currently making some really good games.

@@sushi-oe4em This may come as a shock, but I do own it, and I did spend over 50 hours playing it. There is no excuse for TotK as a full modern priced game, as it runs worse than BotW, and has the exact same formula of storytelling as it.
@@makotoyuki9498 That is fair. I personally don't really care all that much about storytelling in my Zelda game, nor how my games run, which is most likely why I can see past all those flaws.
I wanna get one but feel like the 2 is coming. Guess since there’s no nnouncement it’ll still be a great keepsake years to come. Kind of how people still love GAMEBOY, GBA, DS,3ds, etc
At this point, just wait for the switch 2 and get a SteamDeck in the meantime.

I am considering the Bayonetta 1+2 bundle do you think it’s worth it or just wait for 2 to have a discount alone?
I'm not sure what the price is right now, but its worth playing through both in my opinion. Two is a big step up, but the first is still fun

believe it or not, i am a HUGE Nintendo fan and yet i've NEVER played a Metroid Prime game. i have of course experienced the amazing goodness that is 2d Metroid-vania games but i have yet to pick up a copy of Metroid Prime Remastered...

One thing I really dislike about Switch exclusive games: they don’t have difficulty settings and the default is, nearly always, “kid difficultly.”
I wish they would add difficulty settings to these games.
If you are an adult you are much better off just playing PC games.

I’m glad you didn’t add Pokémon. They butchered Pokémon for this console. Some games I thought were great was Hollow Knight and The Ori Collection!
You not even mentioning Ys Viii Lacrimosa of Dana is such a shame it seems clear you haven't even played it. However it's such a good game if you compare it to Mario Odyssey and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 it is better than both games multiplied together.

1. Skyrim… compare Skyrim to Bayonetta get 100 people in a room and ask him which one is more fun and they’re all gonna say Skyrim bro.
Bayonetta better
Having played both Bayonetta and Skyrim recently for the first time, there’s no question. Bayonetta is A LOT more fun to play and in general it’s a fun game. Skyrim is a really good game but I can’t deny that I got bored pretty often
Skyrim is 6th best selling game in history of video games. I believe that means Skyrim wins. People still play it and create mods for it to this day 13 years after release. Bayonetta is 10-11 hours, Skyrim is 40-100 plus. No comparison
@@charlieb308 sales don't mean crap when it's been rereleased a million times with all sells combined. Skyrim is overrated trash with an insane amount of game breaking bugs and glitches still to this day never patched.
Nintendo guys are weird, still paying big money for side scrolling games in 2024. Very odd.

Better graphics don't make subpar games better, but I'm sure the hardware will be significantly better in the next iteration of the Switch, whatever they decide to call it.
