This was pure smart phone recording of my drive. Nothing fancy. But I put a little teaser at the end. I got some good footage of all the crazy fun I had. I loved my trip to Montana. For the first time I was a little bitter coming home...

I drove cross-country pulling a flatbed for 18 years. Had some good times, miss it sometimes.

Because of watching your vids, I got brave and camped at the Clark Canyon Dam in Montana and crossed the Lemhi Pass. My hobby has been following the Lewis and Clark Expedition.I just got back a week ago from my solo cross country road trip to Idaho and Montana. I left the NC mountains to complete a trip I couldn't finish 12 years ago. My beginner vid is on my channel. I don't have a camera that shows the video subject. It was difficult to balance and drive. My best breakfast was in Salmon at the main intersection, a Phillips 66 station and restaurant.

I also like stopping at non-chain eating locations. You get a good feel of the local folk

Wow so that's what it looks like when there is rain and snow. Road trips rule! Are you at the Ted Turner Ranch or something? Place looks awesome! I drive an x-terra too! I've never slept in it though except when I'm on long solo road trips and doze off while driving.

I'm doing just fine. I'm not done with video. Just kinda got disenchanted after having some creeper people on the internet that caused some concern and notification to authorities. Sense this is not my job, I found it easier to disengage. But I do love video and editing. I still film. Have a lot of footage. Just haven't posted. Thank you for your support. It is definitely encouraging

No! In fact that was the one welcoming thing as I came in through Truckee was the smell. Ahhhhh.... Tahoe
It depends where you stay in Tahoe. I stay on the North Nevada side (Incline Village). Never experienced bumper to bumper traffic, no McD's, a couple small casinos. I don't recommend South Shore to ANYONE!
