I been searching for the right bike to ride from Alaska to Argentina, I want something light like the GS 310, seeing how you modified yours I am begging to consider this bike and modify it to make that long trip.
You definitely put the adventure in adventure bike. I love my baby GS. I think they see uses the larger GS bikes don't. Younger guys ride these lighter adventure bikes more like dual sport bikes in gnarlier off road than they'd take a bike that's 100-200 pounds heavier, and older guys ride these lighter adventure bikes when they're unable to ride or lift a bigger heavier bike.
Hey Larry; I plan on picking one of these 310's up in the next few months. I hear some people complaining about the ABS on/off button that was available on prior years. I guess the 2021 and up doesn't have now?? Is it a significant downfall for trail riding?
@@ADVLARRY clearly I wasn't paying attention lol Unfortunately mine is in the shop getting the starter motor replaced. She didn't like the cold (2 degree C mornings) Looking forward to the nicer weather coming in a couple of weeks.
I loved the little detour through the woods. Making the Avian Nation proud. 🦅
Great small Adventure, always an inspiration. 😀
I like how you killed the bike going past hood Boi #3:-)
The greenery in CT and the NY area is easily overlooked. Green, curvy, scenic and calm.
Waiting for more Larry. Hard core off roading

That’s awesome. Definitely a fun little bike. I feel like I can’t get over anything on this bike. I would also consider the Honda cb500x.

Garmin GPS ? Clean the 3 pins on the mount providing current to
the GPS from the mount. Very common, likely a little dirt or grime on the pins.
Ended up being faulty transformer.
Great video!!! Can you recommend a place to ride dirt roads close to NYC?
Download the REVER app. That will help you find some dirt.

I’m use to it. But definitely a bummer that they changed that. Im still planning on installing a switch which I’ve heard is pretty easy.
@@ADVLARRY Great idea, I bet there's a kit available..
Larry. Nice. I know that is CT, but where exactly are you? I live in Fairfield, so I am guessing it is a hop and jump away.
I’m over by pawling NY.
@@ADVLARRY thanks. I’ll take my 310 and head over there tomorrow.
@@imagol4r enjoy.
@@ADVLARRY Thanks
the heated grips works well?
It’s summer here now. But In the cool spring they worked great!

Nice - new exhaust?
Same exhaust I’ve had for about a year now.

@@jimma47 dang that’s a bummer. Where are you that it’s so cold?!
@@ADVLARRY Tasmania, Australia. Great riding but a few crispy mornings. At least we can ride all year round.
@@jimma47 that’s sounds like good trade off to me.
Thought you sold the 310?
Absolutely not. I never said I did. Lol.
Never will!!
What's the top speed?
88mph
how is your GPS mounted?
Suction cup ram mount. I’ve changed it since then to just a ram mount screwed into the wind screen.
@@ADVLARRY thanks !! Just picked up a 2019.
@@redhorsegarage that’s exciting!! Enjoy. Lmk if you have anymore questions.
Did you run the GPS power cable to the battery or connect to the factory switch power near the headlight?
@@redhorsegarage to the battery
