Hey just a quick update here. This video was recorded prior to the updated list of signings so far. Per Tom Silversteen & Bill Huber, the Packers have agreed to terms with 3 tyrout players already - WR Dimitri Stanley, WR Julian Hicks, and OL Lecitus Smith. There could be more as well, but those three have been reported. This means the Packers will need to release at least 3 players currently on the roster.
Really appreciate your work Andy and those you shouted out. We lucky to have you
My boy is an equipment manager for Florida International and hes friends with Jack Daly. Says hes a good kid itd be awesome to see him make the team
I'm pulling for Kalin King. Go Pack Go!!!!!!
Thanks for filling us in Andy. Great job of filling us in on what's going on in Green Bay. Go Pack Go!!!!!
Two of my draft crushes since Feb.. Evan Williams, and Marshawn Lloyd.
Still experiencing flashbacks...
When Marshawn Lloyd is described I flash back to Maurice Jones-Drew.
"You can't see him, you can't find him," Colts coach Chuck Pagano said. "He's like a bowling ball of butcher knives. He's got legs like tree trunks. Like two sequoias."
Can't wait to see the new guys in action. So excited for them. Go Pack Go!!!!!!
Great job as usual Andy. Thank you so much.
Love getting these updates Andy! Thanks for being our eyes and ears at practice and relaying the information to us with so much passion and excitement. Good to hear about Williams and Hopper making a good first impression. I'm one of the casual fans guilty of questioning the value of those picks at the time but would be thrilled to be proven wrong. All the Packers players have my support whether 1st round pick or UDFA, QB1 to 91st man on the roster.
Good to see our young talent learning this new defensive scheme along with our young veterans. It is going to be a better year and years to come on defense. I’m so excited to watch all of these young rookies play for our Green Bay Packers, I feel like Brian Gutekunst hit a home run with this draft class. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛
I’m so excited for J Morgon
Football IQ adds to play speed and overrides 40 times! Thanks Andy.
It's one thing to be excited about your favorite prospect to be drafted. It's another to be upset and root against a pick you thought was a reach. Don't know how you could do anything but be excited for the likes of Hopper and Williams because the Packers obviously see the talent in them. I hate seeing the disdain of people on our team before they even get to prove themselves.
This is really shaping up to be a very special football team. There's a vibe. No pun intended but there's love abound. When professional athletes care about one another like this, that's the extra juice a team needs. They are going to knock off the defending champion.
Anything notable from UW-La Crosse's Mike Bertoia?
I'm so excited that we talkin bout practice again! Can't wait to follow every detail of this championship year!
Good info here thanks. Hearing you say Hopper is a clone of DeVondre nauseated me though...he looked old, slow, oft injured, and is a whiner. I hope you were only going by physical appearance.
I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS SEASON THAT I COULD JUST BUST !!!👍
Lol 😝
Nice hat
Listening to today's video and yesterday's video, I can envision what the defense is going to look like. With how the LB's and DB's have been playing per your notes, it sounds like the Packers will be doing a lot of 4-2 looks which is the big trend in college right now. The players they have signed or drafted fit exactly what you would want in this type of defense. Everyone from the LB's to DB's has a ton of speed, and they're not afraid to hit while also being able to play multiple positions. This in theory should create confusion for the offenses since you have no clue who is blitzing or dropping into coverage.
We have reason for optimism...
I think WesHod said in a vid this was his 15th year covering the draft
“He is built like…SpongeBob”🤣
Evan Williams. 💪🏼
Packers need a roster spot Royce Newman is still with this team after playing like an abysmal stiff since he was drafted! He could go!
Go Pack Go!
The minute we drafted Williams I thought Micah Hyde. The way you described his approach, it sounds plausible. He is another experienced safety and didn't he get #33? Hmm, two of my favorite players wore that number, not to mention William Henderson did at first too. Our special teams should be great with these new guys. I see Williams, Bullard, Oladapo, Hopper and King playing kickoff coverage. I don't think peo0le realize how this rule will change and affect the game this year. If we drop Nixon and Lloyd deep, they could be dangerous. It's like a running play, there will be gaps created and those two can exploit it.
If you watched Meriwether's 2022 film, he played with a leg injury most of the season(ankle or knee I can't remember which one).
What of the LS and PK? No one talks about them!!!!
So if there's no pads on and no tackling. Does this mean anything?
If jarvian Howard is exclusively straight line speed, he may be a great alternative option for kick return with the new rules
Andy, just have to ask what is the significance of your hat logo?
No significance. Just a super comfortable hat 😂
