Not 100% sure but I think ‘Lobo Land’ is a result of a Dark Multiverse Blackest Night.
Sinestro fails to use the Life Entity to defeat Nekron and Hand, so he eventually gives the white ring to Lobo, who is immortal and immune to Death. Lobo uses it to destroy the Blackest Night by like repopulating the universe with himself. So everyone becomes Lobo, and it’s just a violent hellish universe of violence and murder.
Also makes sense Lobo would beat Batman Who Frags. No geek bastich in a Halloween costume can keep the Main Man down.
If they did I sin city/ 300 style Lobo movie with good writing it'd be a hit.

Lobo is one DC’s most cringe characters yet for some absurd reason someone in the company thinks he’s “the coolest thing ever”. Nothing whatsoever would be lost if this character just disappeared
It's because he appeals to Gen X and boomers, cuz he's a parody of edgy 90s antiheroes. Ya know, an archetype that hasn't been popular in at least 20 years, so the average comic book fan these days isn't gonna care about him? Much less the "18-35" demographic they're targeting?
I swear, the main two comics houses are going down the shitter lately.
