He could do anything and he could make up new powers all the time. problem... writers can't make superman a one man league. If they did why would they need the justice league. So they hit him with nerfs. These are the reasons why people think superman will lose. almost every feat the hulk, Thor, Sentry and Silver Surfer, Shazam, Flash.. Superman has already done and most of the time he did it first. That is why everyone compares to him and there is so many copies. Nothing against the other characters their time will come. They will get more powerful, then the nerf stick will come. Look at hulk... Damn near unstoppable.. Then in a she hulk issue a building falls on his head and he is knocked out... figures and they wonder why people shrug and the writers laugh and sell more books.

The weakest Superman has to be My Adventures With Superman. He gets beat up by robots fairly often and has to "power up" or whatever to fight. Omni-Man would take him.

In what world does Sentry the guy who lost to World War Hulk beat Pre crisis Superman. sentry was able to destroy the negative zone (the equivalent of an entire universe) with his bare hands I remember correctly? but the negative zone itself weakens him, how did he manage to do this?

If Sentry became so OP in in just 24 years, while Supes needed so much more time, it's natural that Sentry becomes the most OP version of Supes. After all, he's the perfect version of Supes, so has be strongest and defeat the One Above All.
