This is what happens using beings so powerful you can’t even comprehend it. Them just sitting around in the void shoving planets into each others faces just seems ro mundane when compared to what their suppose to be capable of. Multiverse this and omniverse that and everything in between it always feels like different franchises are trying to one up each other...or themselves and have just lost track.
You'd be more fitting to call this a battle between space wizards than "gods."

Yeah, how the fuck are they a threat to the Multiverse when they smack each other with planets? No sense of scaling in these comics.
Well, being godlike beings, in the DC universe they both have corporeal forms, which is strange as Dr.Manhattan was meant to have lost his form and ascended to godhood but he is still forced to take a physical form to some level of degree. Being physical beings, they have to use something to hurt each other, and, well, just as to humans, two giants doing battle with clubs seems like large men swinging trees at each other, this is equal, you see planets, they see little hard balls of matter to smack each other with. To put it simply, if you adhere to any belief in a higher power, and its opposite, this is what you chose, this is the end fate of all life according to your belief, if there are things beyond your comprehension, of great power like this, then this is the fate of all things, a final confrontation which leads to oblivion. Or, if you adhere to no belief, than there is no final struggle. Oblivion comes from within, as it always has, and in the end, there is nothing, and no struggle, no matter how large, ever truly mattered. Every life one may save, every life one may end, every good deed, every misfortune, if there comes a day where there is one who will be there to observe the end, they will realize, nothing made a difference.
the real conclusion is superboy prime sacrifices everything that made him him, into one punch to end them. His love for the girl next door, his desire to write heroes onto the right path, his desire for comrades, everything he had he let go of and put into a single strike to finish them.
So what I've gathered from this arc, is that the only thing stopping batman from effectively becoming a god is that he simple doesn't feel like it.
all the strongest villains are all corrupted versions of Batman. Which the bwl makes his own Justice league out of them.

At the very least it would have been a stalemate had they continued to fight, but instead Prime decides to go the idiotic route and not take Laughs' power to reset the multiverse to how it was previously

I just love it when the creators of a story don't know when to end their story and just keep raising the stakes of every fight and arc to keep the readers' attention. Yeah, power creeping is my passion.
For real though, when you as a writer go cosmic, universal or multiversal, you have to look back and ask yourself a couple of questions. The first being: "did this story start cosmic?"
If the answer is no, then the second: "is this cosmic plot related to the initial plot of the story?"
If the answer is no, then the next: "is there some symbolism to the cosmic-ness of this story?"
If the answer is no, then the last: "will the story end here?"
If the answer is no, you're sure as hell fucked. If the answer is yes, you already got too far, and it will take way too much goddamn talent to make your dumpster fire of a story to work. But hey, it may be possible.

I rather enjoyed watching the Batman Who Laughs curbstomp the entirety of ... well, everything. It was refreshing to see a villain, particularly one that had formerly been little more than a Jokerfied Batman, continually put the screws to the good guys. It's just too bad One Who Laughs lost in the end. Seeing the whole multiverse unmade by a maniac only to be remade by the Hands would've been interesting, if only because it would be the first and only time a bad guy ever *truly* won.
Anybody ever look at a creator of the multiverse and go, "yep, I'd hit it."

I would guess that Oblivion likely scales very close to tier 0, as only an aspect of Oblivion wiped out 98% of the Marvel Multiverse, which I believe is stated to be infinite, which doesn't make any sense, but yeah. The aspect in question was chaos king, who was like comically barely any of Oblivion's true power. Oblivion very likely is only below the One Above All, if he even is at all, as Oblivion rests outside of all of Marvel's reality at all, bar beyond "beyond spacetime" and represents non existence itself. I hope marvel does more with him cause there could be some really cool philosophical plot points with him and I'm fairly certain he's stronger than any antagonist we've ever seen in Marvel or DC by a ludicrous margin.

Just seemed really weird, it's hard for me to imagine a being like attempting to strike a deal with a lesser if it were to her benefit. It wasn't like he was gonna say, "Hey, you know what! You're right let's make a deal now that I'm on the verge of victory!" 🤣

Yeah I was having a hard time wrapping my mind around his beginnings killing his entire world's justice league single handedly without a single member suspecting anything. He's a genius but he's not got a single power he's a regular human with martial arts training and money.
