@@devonedwards1364 i don’t think that you can understand. OC is speaking about a animated movie, the other guy randomly spoke about the audio play… which isn’t correlated at all (only by sandman) would’ve been a better example if he used the fandome shorts and if he wrote his comment a bit better

I don't get it. Is Daniel Hall still morpheus? Or is Morpheus dead and Daniel Hall is no longer related to the other endless?
Daniel is still Morpheus, but different. There is a quote in the book "Dream didn't die, only one of its faces" (or something like that). The dream didn't really die, he changed
It's kinda like a doctor who. Every time he regenerates, a new version is born.
Dream wasn't even the first of the Endless to die, Despair was killed before.

What died was the last incarnation of Dream. Whenever a member of the endless dies, a new incarnation appears to continue his role. Its still Dream but with a different personality. It’s similar to the regeneration we see in Dr. Who.
