It’s been 84 years…..finally a NEW 4Runner.
And it doesn't look any better
@@AmericaFirst069 It looks AWESOME!!!
its like they flew every youtuber out there
Pretty much! It is kind of a big deal though!
I think the seats not being flat with the cargo area is a zonk
Right?!
10:25 I remember the Thomas Guide's book of maps!
Great review as usual and pro camera work!
I have owned the 1st and 4th generation 4Runners. My 1st gen was unfortunately stolen and stripped. My 4th gen had over 305k miles and still going strong. I waited over 21 years for this 6th gen and it will fit nicely with our needs and in my garage.
Loving its trim level for the 4Runner Limited. With its 3rd Row to it, AMAZING!🙌🏻💯‼️
Really love this! I think the proportions are👌. And I’m glad someone finally made the air dam removable.
Thank you Joe digging the new 4 Runner
Joe and Lori and Steve keep up the good work real true and I love the video 👍
Honestly looks like a baby Sequoia
Damn, you just crushed our buildings😂
Is that a good thing?
@@RaitisRides it’s a good thing for people if they want something a little smaller than the sequoia
Not real creative just like the Tacoma
I agree it's a Baby Sequoia. They just put a new gen Tacoma front and Land Crusise end to make this vehicle lol Not lazy at all Toyota.
Great job Joe. Appreciate your hard work with great info. Looking forward to see you test drive and pricing.
Looks good! I don’t like the multimedia screen sticking up though. I wish they integrated that in some different way.
love it !! Will surely get this one once available
Mapquest was ‘The Future’ .
Ordering your ‘TripTik’ from AAA a couple of weeks before your trip was old school for this aching back viewer 😊
I want it Joe. Again excellent review from Cali this time.
Nice job Joe. I am loving this redesign. Great job with the 4 cylinder gas engine and optional hybrid. Toyota will sell a ton of these.
Thank you for separating the trims into different videos
As always an outstanding content. I see like a retro look on the SUV. Not a fan of the front, but the rest of it looks nice.
I am so glad that I can bring it to you my friend.
looks real nice!!! love the new changes and feel tempted to get it
That is amazing 4Runner and huge update to the 4Runner and best one yet also love the pretty blue color on that limited trim and power running boards Toyota did wonderful and also great job Joe and Steven
Will they offer heated steering wheels?
I love the look of the Limited with the body colored fenders. Like enough to consider buying one. I’m used to a V6 so I would have to see how the hybrid powertrain feels, but I would trust the dependability being a Toyota.
4Runner has always been my favorite. I learned to drive in one. Definitely digging this new look! I’m wondering if the Platinum version you mentioned will offer 3rd row seating..
Love it. Nice upgrades and redesign.
I am glad that you are digging the new 4Runner!
Great review, Joe. Can’t wait for pricing. They are probably saving the panoramic sunroof for the new Platinum trim level is my thought. Can’t wait to see this in person!
will there be other color options for the interior?
Power Folding mirrors when locked?
The new look looks awesome, Toyota will sell a ton of 'em. No V6 but the 2 newer 4 cylinders have plenty of power and torque esp the hybrid. Glad Toyota hid the rear wiper, Joe, u don't have to zonk it anymore lol.
I don’t think there is a rear wiper

I love the changes they’ve made I’d buy one of these as well love the color inside and out of it as well here again seeing Lexus shining through here again which I love great video Joe I do think it should have had a pano roof in it though Toyota could have definitely put one in it we all know other wise I love it thank you for the video and Steven’s photography work as well very good job both of you guys
Love it! I want to see what the platinum trim gives us!
Great video
That color though.. looks really attractive to my eyes
interested in seating height compared to LC, about the same or higher roof on the LC = more upright position? Love the seating positions of Jeeps/Broncos for example
What are the models are they coming out with? Do they still have SR5?
I like the look but I can’t really see myself spending over $50 k for something that will depreciate ( all vehicles do to some extent) , get scratches and dings. I bought a 21 6 months ago and I was livid about a ding and scratches that happened.
Trying to get a feel for the rear seat room - how tall are you Joe?
My Canadian 2020 limited had power running boards
In the 80s the pick up and 4 runner they look the same now again love it
Only thing I wish they would have upgraded rear air vents, we have a three row 2019 4Runner and even the second row you get hot in summer
the limited trim is by far the best looking from the 3 showcased in the reveal. makes me excited to see what the Platinum iForce Max has to offer. will be trading in my 2020 corolla once that one comes out 🔥👌🏽
Wooooooow I love it, I got 2023 4runner limited I was thinking to get the 2024 but I change my mind I’ll wait for this one 🙈❤️❤️❤️❤️
That looks pretty bad ass 👍🏾.
Best review ❤❤
Thank you Joe
So glad this comes with a real auto 8-speed and not a garbage CVT like most other hybrid set-ups
So Good, inside and out
I'm so glad that the sixth-gen 4Runner is here! The wait is finally over!
Another GREAT review Joe! 👍
This is one of the best refresh ever. I was wondering they might just copy Tacoma front end, but this new look so very much 4runner
I like that color and I want a 4Runner ....
That sounds great Rich!
Didn't know there was gong to be a new 4Runner, such a nice surprise.
It looks so much better then the current 4Runner. I am so glad they got rid of the silly fake vent opening in the front bumper that would make it look like something was missing.
I absolutely LOVE Topo Chico!!!!!!
I don't think they could've done the redesign any better! I really like the interior. This honestly might be my next vehicle
black out that front valance, black rims, bigger tires and a slight lift, and BAM
You can get LC same color as well I like to see side by side comparison when you do it Joe ❤ 😊
I will be bringing it Joe!
Simple & Reliable!
Love the new 4runner! I wonder if they are going to cram a 3rd row option in there similar to the last model. It wasn't a daily driver third row but one you could use in a pinch.
Right you are!
Whats with the flat screen tv in the middle of the windshield?
😂😅😂😅
I need that color!❤ I also hope you could dim the 14-inch laptop panel. I wouldn't even be able to see the road at night!😂
Hey Joe are the 4Runners still being made exclusively in Japan or will this new model be made in a different country? Thank you.
According to the guys at TFL, they will be manufactured in Japan.
Yes they are!
@@RaitisRides thank you
@@garrettyamada9821 thank you
Giuseppe delivers the goods!
nice mall runner. i'll wait for your TRD review
Hey Raiti! new here because I want a 4runner so bad haha but I couldnt help but notice your right middle fingernail was discolored! if its not from an injury or not getting better since this video, definitely go get this checked with a dermatologist!
So sad 😢 sticking with the previous 4Runners I will get one used , I don’t care . 2019-2024
I don’t know about that Limited Grille. But I do like the electric running boards. Second row looked a bit cramped but I like the fact the seats can flip up since they don’t fold flat. I think I like the TRD Pro a little more than the Limited Trim.
Thanks for sharing that great insight!
I said the exact same thing about the grille, I think they said that the platinum was blacked out, maybe it will look better
It’s a baby sequoia!! Will be excellent on the road! … I have a 2010…SR5… still going strong. I may check into this new model!
How was the headroom in the back seat?. You didn’t mention it. It didn’t look good.
I know his head was close to roof
New 4Runner is 🔥. Finally a powered rear hatch.
I wanted a Acura RDX.. next. I might consider this tho.. Toyota Nailed this upcoming generation ❤❤❤❤
Love the limited
Yeah, I like the pained fender flares!
I see similarities between this one and the old school. I like it.
Toyota is on a roll
Now the question is can they build quickly
I don't know if I like it or hate it. But At least Toyota try to redesign the 4runnner. Nice job joe!!
I think the Limited looks so clean tbh. Might be the one for me
Throwback to mapquest. I remember those days. What an amazing thing at the time for what it was.
The good old days for sure!
What if i want the a Limited trd pro
I guess you better buy one of each..
Do y'all remember Mapsco? Thats how I used to get around from job to job
I wait for this suv for 4 years I’m getting it trd off road premium
Looks niceeee but where are the rear heated seats for the passengers in the back ://😢
Thats my fav color 👌
Nice looking vehicle
Strategical
Hey Raiti, i think that the New 4Runner is a combination of the Sequoia and the Tacoma totally
The Toyota 4Runner currently sells around 12k a month, or 145k a year
This redesign should get it close to 200k in 2025. They didn't miss a trick.
The V6/V6 Hybrid are reserved for the full size Tundra/Sequioa
Any idea if a third row will be an option in the limited
That is a great question!
It will be according to the Toyota press release I read this morning!
It is kind of funny that off-road SUVs are so popular, when very, very few people actually need them. In America, if a road exists whether it's paved or not, it generally can accommodate any vehicle. I rarely go on an unpaved road, but on the few I've gone on my Honda Accord did just fine. The only time where I would really feel more comfortable in an off-road is driving through snow storms, but I put winter tires on my Honda Accord and have gotten through several huge snow storms just fine too. But off-road SUVs do look cool, I like them, and maybe every time you get in one you feel a sense of adventure. And maybe people just like knowing the capability is there even if they never use it. Kind of like having a gun in the house, you know there's almost no chance you'll ever have to use it, but nice to know it's there in case one day some crazies start coming through the window.
Haven’t seen pricing yet but Land Cruiser seems like the move
I carry an 18 foot canoe on my standard roof rack on my 5th gen. 😊
The color selection so far is amazing...the tacoma should have had more creative shades
Looks like they f 'd it up.
Where is the roof rack ?
Rear doesn't fold flat.
What's with the ipad on the dash ?
Untested powertrain.
Is the mileage still crappy ?
Gonna change the oil on my 4th gen.
I never really liked the look of the Limited trim 4Runner until this one. I actually prefer the color matching fenders.
I like how's look
I prefer the proportions and design of the previous gen but I’m sure this one will be a seller too.
not flat cargo area floor how am I supposed to sleep there?
That is a great question.
Buy a roof top tent like all the cool overlanders
Came here to say just that. Definitely a downgrade from current gen. No more stealth camping for us tall folk.
Right, the whole thing is super compromised to fit all the hybrid components. You either fold the seat backs down and have a crazy step up, or you flip them up and loose at least a foot of length which is probably now too short to sleep in.
So easy, don’t buy hybrid trim
Joe... when you are at the back of the vehicle you state that it's NOT an iforce MAX but when you're behind the wheel you say that it IS an iforce MAX!?!? Which is it??
Looks nice
I just worried how the platinum looks
I want to see the new Platinum trim!
I'm sure the Platinum will be flagship luxury.
I have a 2019 SR5 Premium and would only be interested in the Limited or Platinum trims.
Go with high trims like platinum
I would keep yours
The back kinda look the same, but the front looks different.
not a big deal but i wish they used the 4RUNNER where the 4 and R were together like the first 3 gens had
