    I like your idea with the DEI reflective tape on the valve cover. I think I'm going to do mine like that too.

    Tremendous amount of effort has gone into your machine. So how do you plan to pass visual and smog inspection with this setup in California?

    What do you do with the PCV valve? If you delete it with a fitting, then where do you vent it to? I ask because I have some pretty high crankcase pressure that is making my turbo build smoke. Currently running a two port catch can from my pcv valve to my intake manifold. Thanks.

    Thoughts on going 5-speed swap from 4-speed auto with a K-PRO and no AEM gear since I can't find one? D17A2. Plan to run stock base VTEC fuel map with stock exhaust and stock airbox + resonator.
    I bought a 5-speed from a junk yard that pulled it for me for $125, I got some other parts with it for another $200 including shifter cables, shifter, shift boot, shift knob, center console bezel, under-dash fuse box for a 03-05 manual coupe EX, clutch pedal with both sensors, and a manual engine harness. I've been sitting on the parts for 2 years now.
    The plan is to buy the rest of the clutch system, the two sub-harnesses that attach to the dash harness (dash harness is same part number across all 7th gen Civic's, the k-pro, k-swap conversion wire harness. Then, build it. Am I missing anything?
    I'm just hoping the automatic gauge cluster isn't an issue.
    Ultimate goal is k-swap, but, I'm thinking getting a clutch and k-pro in the car first is a step in the right direction.

    I have my ring gap set at 0.024 and it sucked for all motor, but my turbo is liking it. I lost compression on the turbo gap. I think Honda uses somewhere around 0.016 stock. I have some cheapo eBay catch cans and they work great. Do you think the stock valve cover breather is enough? I have it routed into my air intake. I daily my car and don't want to breathe fumes, but I'm running E85 now and the fumes are lovely.

      Less gas milage

    • @Cloneufc
      @Cloneufc Před 4 lety

      @@1uzfe The loss in gas mileage for me was like 20%. I'm on Kpro V3 and it runs way smoother than Pump 91. To me, it was worth the switch. I'm also going to upgrade to Kpro V4 for the GM flex fuel sensor. My car freaked out on anything above 9 psi of boost. On E85 I can run 14 psi daily driver no problem.
