My Rojo Congo is my pride and joy. It's weird that it doesn't have the hype of other philodendrons, but thanks to that I got mine at a low low price.
I loved my Red Congo but left it behind with a friend in CA when I moved to AZ. They're great plants - maybe their day in the spotlight is coming up. Nell
@JoyUsGarden what's the care for this plant?
I finally re-potted my Rojo Congo which I should have done a while ago. Not because it was root bound, but because the soil needed to be changed to a healthy well draining soil.
That's a great reason to repot plants. A soil mix suiting the plant is very important. Nell

What about when this plant gets huge, and top heavy and leans with new plants ? I can not find any videos on this.
Can I see you closer look at the depth of planting. I have to repot mine but but it's not hold upright without help and I am allowing aerial robots to go to soil. So I guess my question is can I bury the plant deeper to promote more rooting or propagate.
Hi Nell. I got a small plant of this kind of philodendron rojo congo it got root rot , had to trim , leaves and roots which are all gone with only 1 unfurling leaf left. Can it be saved and rerooted?
