I still choke up a little at the moment the Bride hisses at the Monster who only wants a friend and wife and a tear runs down his cheek. Very sad and touching. "She hate me...like others."

The impression I always got was that The Bride is simply a newborn in an adults body-she is only a few minutes old and doesn't even know how to speak yet. The way she glances around, wide-eyed leaves me with the impression that she is being bombarded by sights and sounds she is just not capable of registering.

the Franz Waxman sound track is classic too. the "dah, dah, dah, DAH, dah" leitmotif was used in numerous other horror and movie serials like Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers back in the 1930's

In the original cut Dr. Victor Frankenstein also died at the end and you can still spot him at left corner of the screen, on the end of the stairs at minute 3:06 while Dr. Pretonius is by the electrical equipment on the right side of the room.

Elsa Lancaster was a beautiful woman. She looked her best for this part. Her career she looked homely and spacey

Why that castle/lab had a self-destruct handle in the first place? I mean, God forbid someone had stumbled and pushed it down accidentally!😂

What I can't figure out of why the hell Dr. Pretorious branded the monster's mate "The Bride of Frankenstein", especially since Frankenstein was actually the monster's creator and not the monster itself.
So what gives with that one??

If i recall correctly the good Dr.Frankenstein and his trusty assistant used a bird's brain when piecing her together - Her response to Boris the monster was ,"Ack", And if she wasn't going to love him then he'd kill the both of them , her loud hiss let him know that was never going to happen - So he says "you go", "we belong dead" - Yes immortal, like Bogie and Becall

I notice that the monster never spoke again in any of the movies (ok maybe a little bit in Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein but only under Dracula's spell). But I can understand because if the only person you ever loved rejected you and died right after, I wouldn't want to talk again, would you?

The monster spoke in "Ghost of Frankenstein" when Igor's brain was transplanted into his skull. Since Lugosi played Igor twice , then the monster in "Frankenstein Meets The Wolfman" , it would stand to reason they'd have the monster talk in that one , but I heard the test shots of Lugosi speaking as the monster were too hilarious .

I feel it would have been a better movie if it had more of the Bride or rather "Intended Fiancee" and they could have gotten together and been happy for a little while after all that trouble, before the obligatory tragic end.

I don't think its fair at how the Bride had to die. Because she was basically Re-borned ? && Of course she's gonna scream, She doesn't know you !
