Ground breaking!
When the young gargoyle accidentally shot the police detective when playing with her gun, there was real consequences. And blood!
Broadway was racked with guilt. The woman didn't just get better. In next shows, she went to physical therapy and struggled to get back to good health.
A very well done "kids don't play with guns " message. Also a good lesson on guilt and how some actions you have live with and there are no quick fixes.

Gargoyles was a more serious toned show much like X-Men and Batman the animated series, so only best use the more serious toned version of TMNT
