Thank you, this is very helpful. I am a new MikroTik User. I see for syslog you have "Memory" and "Disk". My question is simple... Can you plug in a thumb drive or mini-USB SSD to the front USB port and have it save logs to that "External" disk? I like VERY verbose logging and don't want to risk filling anything up internally on the microtik.
Hopefully someone can answer this! Thanks!

Great videos! Will you be doing other certifications next? Like MTCRE, MTCINE, MTCIPv6E and MTCTCE ? I've got some renewal exams planned, and that would really help freshen up my memory haha.

Hello there, yes I have planned on doing the MTCRE as well. My channel also has a lot of videos that already cover things like OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VPLS etc on MikroTik, though once I feel comfortable creating a course on the MTCINE that can also be on the table :)

I like to save my logs to a USB thumb drive instead of direct to the MT Storage..
