    All thanks to you, I finally understand the concept of routing.😄

      I am very happy if any of my videos have helped you in any way, routing is really FUN and shouldn't be something we are scared of.

      That would be an understatement, I've been thoroughly enjoying your MTCNA playlist so far.😇

    Hi I like your video but you describe there where you have more routers but how I do routing on one Mikrotik router for more subnets?

    Sir, how do you get all your routers in winbox while you're using Eve ng ?

  • @MindSparqTrivia

    Nice. . Can I also request policy based routing with multiple ISP with recursive failover and using multiple mikrotik routers configured with pppoe sir? Thank you in advanced

      Hello, sure recursive routing is a part of the MTCRE certification path and will be the next content I will bring out once I have completed my MTCNA course :)

    When you pinged router 1 and got the time out error, why didn't the NAT resolve the return message?
    Also could you do something like how packet data encapsulation and decapsulation happens as traffic is routed through multiple routers?

    • @TheNetworkBerg
      @TheNetworkBerg  Před 2 lety +2

      Hi, the timeouts occurred to 172.16.0.1. Even though traffic was forwarding from R2 to R1, R1 was not forwarding traffic towards R3 which is where the network resides and as such it timed out. Regardless of a NAT rule and traffic potentially being pushed out from R1 to the internet, Private networks are not routable on the internet and it makes sense that this would time out. This is resolved later in the video by adding static routes on R1 to its connected routers.
      I'd definitely like to add a few bonus videos at the end of the course that can discuss things like Data Encap/Decap, Bridging expanded & how the firewall process works :)

    Hey, what application that you are using to simulate mikrotik? TNx in advance.

      I use a network emulator called EVE-NG, these are CHR routers that I use inside it that are "real" routers. Very nice to learn something new without breaking or buying physical equipment.

    I mean how do you access the graphic user interface of your routers and yet they are in eve ng ... Even tho you could use bridge i have you would just have access on one router only
