The 360 launch version was indeed an older build, also evidenced by the fact that the SWAT units on 1.00 360 were black and not blue, also your gun would go through walls if you walked close to them. The 360 update was also released in Nov 2014 whereas PS3 was June 2014, which is likely why the Infamy menu was changed as to not give false hope.
Watching pc players get all that dlc content and updates as a console player on the ps3 at the time was absolutely painful. Payday 3 console versions absolutely has to stay on par with the pc version this time around
Oh trust me, I know. The first few years of the game, I was still in high school and only got to play the PC version a few days of the week when I was at my dad's. The rest of the time, I was stuck as a console player. It really sucked. I don't trust Overkill with consoles anymore, which is why even though my PC isn't the best, I'm still going to go with the PC version of PAYDAY 3 until some time passes and they prove that the console version remains on par with PC.
I'm sorry but I don't get this mind set, how do you expect them to implement the same content for console as the PC version without issue? I have seen a number of people complain about this in general for some time now regarding console PC differences and its just not logical, the fact is if the systems can't handle that much content they can't handle it. I have played inferior versions of games on console for years and sparingly complained about their differences (minus small things), if I buy a cheap slower car instead of a faster more expensive car why would I expect it to run the same or have the same features as the more expensive one? I will admit however some games like Black Ops 3 were a disappointment on 7th gen, from what I gathered that game could have been much better optimised and better looking than the version we got at release. Mean no offense just curious why players have that kind of thinking?
@@saulgoodman9278 the thing is console players paid the same as pc players so the car comparison would be correct if u paid the same amount for both the “expensive” and “cheap” versions right? I mean a disclaimer would have been fair dont u think? In no way shape or form was it communicated up until maybe gage weapon pack 2 that consoles might be left in the dust for a while.
@@kawhiet_guy9389 I was referring more so to the systems the games run on rather than the games themselves, regarding the issues brought up those would ultimately have to be handled by the appropriate authorities, corporations or groups. Personally I think that there should be more oversight or laws to prevent these kind of issues from being apparent or exploited in the first place unfortunately I don't see this changing anytime soon if the legality regarding things like loot boxes has gone on as long as it has now.
I already had intentions to cover PAYDAY The Heist on PS3 as well as possibly do the PAYDAY 2 demo, it's just a matter of finding anyone playing them. People still play The Heist every now and then, but finding anyone on the demos is a lot rarer.

You should make a video in the Payday 1 and PayDay 2 demos that are available on PS3 and Xbox 360

I can answer the first 2, there are still servers(ofc very dead) and yes you need xbox live gold/ xbox game pass core.

Servers are still up, but Xbox Live Gold is still required to play online.
