How do I do stealth
"We restarted the mission" and those four words pretty much sums up pretty much every single stealth heist in this game. If you attempt to truly stealth a mission, be prepared to restart... a lot.
Also fun fact for those who don't know Payday 2 was built on a gaming engine that was meant for driving games. Ironically enough the driving portions of the game tend to be the worst parts of the game, and of course these guys had no issues during that section of the video.
That is a hilarious fact to note because from my experience, the vehicles kinda handle like shit.
Also, you can eventually achieve a point where you donât need to restart often if at all... but, ya know, stealth heists take patience, and you know how patient most people are today.
@@Molten_Anarchist yeah like i said despite it being built on a driving engine, the driving is the worst part.
As for the stealth, yeah stealth in Payday 2 is simple (easy when you understand it but if you don't it's a pain) but it's like there's like 40 some heists that have stealth as an option and they all have unique spawn patterns for various things so IF you dedicate enough time to it you can easily avoid having to restart but that depends on the players. Meanwhile with loud you can literally not play the game for years (as happened with me) then get back into it and have no problem (depending on your difficulty selection)

It's kinda crazy how off the rail this game has gone. It just started with things like stealing painting from an art gallery and robbing a bank. To stealing nuclear warheads with a muscle car and the actual Ark of the Covenant from a secret military base. And I love it.

Payday 2 is just the gift that keeps on giving...I was in one of the largest pd2 communities back in 2015-2017, we moved on to other games but even now I find myself coming back every now and then to run a few heists just messing around with friends and I find myself dying of laughter every single time
watching people play payday 2 stealth is like waiting for a jumpscare that you know is going to happen, at any point it will go wrong, you just donât know when

I love seeing the skill difference of someone who has played payday a while, and someone who isn't very used to it. Most vets would have a cake walk on jewelry, especially on hard. But, seeing them all struggle is a fun change of pace
As someone who's spent thousands of hours into this game, it still warms my heart to see people under Rep 100 still goofing around and having fun with the game.
At some point, the payday developers just went "FUCK IT" and I really love that

In my experience, being bad at Payday 2 makes it infinitely funnier
They're not that bad. I once had a heist where a friend keep dropping the lockpick on a metal door, and after 10 tries shot it with a unsilenced pistol.
I've seen guys with infamy over 30 playing worse trust me
So to explain the toast: Apparently it's a running gag since the first game where a key safe to open had nothing but that toast with melted cheese inside. In White Xmas mission, there's a rare chance one of the presents you loot contains that same toast but it's comically large, heavy as shit, but you can turn it in for a LOT of money.
Just in case you need a direction for some more Payday 2 content.

So I've gotten back to playing Payday 2 recently, like 2 days ago, and I remember back in 2014 where it was just a simple, "Oh, rob this bank," or some other place, steal paintings, etc. Played frequently on the 360 and Xbox One for years, probably up until 2020. Then in mid '21 I bought it on Steam, and that's where I noticed a lot of differences, like the fact that they still update it frequently and release new DLCs and stuff, and I love it. New heists too
you know they weren't gonna take the stealth option when you hear "NO WITNESSES!"
You can have a stealth heist AND kill all witnesses... it just comes down to if you want to pay all those cleaner costs.
