lol i thought about editing it out but nah…
Love that you are treading on with the build and thanks for sharing! What shocks do you want to go with next? I have similar set up with the Ironman stage 3 but I do not have a front bumper, so have less weight up front. Not sure if that means I might ride even rougher. I’ve wondered what Kings or Icons would soften up the ride a bit. With that said, I’ve enjoyed the Ironmans and think they handle exceptionally well on road and have done quite well for me off the pavement, but the sacrifice is the stiffer ride I guess.
I’ve felt the same about the foam cells. They’re great for people with slightly lighter builds but I’ve determined I need something with a bigger piston so I can swap in some softer springs.
Rough front suspension could also be a lack of front end droop, have you checked your front end droop? Should aim for around 70mm. My guess, is you need longer front shocks for your lifted ride hight. Those Ironman shocks are the same length as factory shocks, trust me, they're really no good for a 2" lift, get longer shocks before torsion bars. 😉
i won’t be changing anything until i get better shocks. probably kings or icons. i have more front end droop than most people since my ride height is only about 1.75” of lift
@@cruiserpatch I went with the Icons cdc, they're an awesome shock. They will give you nearly 40mm of extra droop too. 😎
Even with that lift I'd still bet you haven't enough droop for those Ironman shocks.
Also, you must have bugger all up-travel running extended front bumpstops? I'm guessing you need that to clear the 35s?
my 35s don’t clear when they’re stuffed. i also blew out a bumpstop so am switching to PerryParts to see how they hold up
Dang that guy is hot
