I found Dr. Matt through Vet Ranch. He has been fantastic and I’ve been following him for YEARS. The gut sinking feeling when the media mentioned the shirt was awful and I prayed nobody would give any flak to him. I couldn’t imagine being in Dr. Matt’s shoes hearing that news. I've watched VetRanch way before the other channels, and loved how caring he's been with the animals even going and treating wild animals in other countries and know someone who does that can't condone senseless violence. It's a shame what's happened and how badly it's got to his head, and how much he probably fears for his family's safety from people who might misunderstand who he is. Matt is a kind soul who didn't deserve to be caught up in this of all things, I am wishing him, and the extended family some peace during these times. I did not know this guy, or this channel, before all this, but I have sons, 19 and 22. They told me from the get go that they had heard this shooter was wearing that shirt, and they were like "mom, he doesn't even talk about politics." Shortly after, one of my sons tells me he saw a news article or show, can't remember which, that called this a "far right" CZcams channel. The media is just crazy.
When I saw the news report about your T-shirt, I felt very sorry for you. I discovered you through Vet Ranch, when I was volunteering with an animal rescue group. Matt, I'm a UK Navy vet, I have absolutely zero interest in guns as such, but enjoy all your content, was a little late to the party discovering off the ranch when you bought the abandoned mansion. I've since been back through and caught up - never seen any political/hate/or even implied issues with your content. In fact it even inspired me to renovate my garage, which gave me focus during a difficult time getting divorced. Why does the media not point out the brand of shoes, pants, underwear, socks, hat, etc…. So it’s a shirt with some branding on it! Would they make a big deal if it was shirt branded with the “View” on it? Love you Matt keep your chin up.
The shirt is a little bit different because it represents a community, not just a brand so there is a potential that it could have been connected. That being said it is irresponsible for them to report on it like that and make people think it is connected without getting the facts first. And I’m pretty sure if he was wearing a shirt for “The View” that a different set of news stations would be reporting on it the same way. The problem is all media organizations. Not just the ones you disagree with.

When I saw the news report about your T-shirt, I felt very sorry for you. I discovered you through Vet Ranch, when I was volunteering with an animal rescue group. I was always impressed with the work you did on the rescue scene. You ALWAYS seemed like an all around good guy.

Matt, I am a 65 yr old Woman who has watched your channel since before your Mansion. The one thing we all know is your absolute love for Animals and Humans. Know that anyone who has followed you knows you to be a standup kinda Guy. Enough so that 11 Million from Demolition and 4 Million plus here. We all stand with you in Prayer and have your back.

My kids and I started watching Vet Ranch years ago. You're deeply loved in our household all the way down here in Tasmania, Australia. When we read in the news he was wearing one of your merch shirts we thought 'oh no, this is going to be unbelievably unfair'... we know you. All the way down here, we know you and we KNOW that there is no kinder, gentler person anywhere. No one can put your shirt on and make us confused about who you are. Matt, I'm a UK Navy vet, I have absolutely zero interest in guns as such, but enjoy all your content, was a little late to the party discovering off the ranch when you bought the abandoned mansion. I've since been back through and caught up - never seen any political/hate/or even implied issues with your content. In fact it even inspired me to renovate my garage, which gave me focus during a difficult time getting divorced. I'm sure in a short while the t-shirt will just be a t-shirt, and moving forward people will just remember that a trouble guy with a ropey grouping tried and failed. keep on keeping on 🙌🏻

Why does the media not point out the brand of shoes, pants, underwear, socks, hat, etc…. So it’s a shirt with some branding on it! Would they make a big deal if it was shirt branded with the “View” on it? Love you Matt keep your chin up.
To put it simple, the media is trying to divert attention and so they will push any narrative to help them out.
The shirt is a little bit different because it represents a community, not just a brand so there is a potential that it could have been connected. That being said it is irresponsible for them to report on it like that and make people think it is connected without getting the facts first. And I’m pretty sure if he was wearing a shirt for “The View” that a different set of news stations would be reporting on it the same way. The problem is all media organizations. Not just the ones you disagree with.

Its a headline on CNN now that he released this video, I knew within hours of the shooting that he was wearing the shirt but the MSM didn't know or didn't care. I'm confused on why he made this video and brought all this attention to himself.

A few years ago, my son started watching your channel. I was concerned and told him not to watch it. He told me to watch it with him and I was pleasantly surprised. Matt is such a good person, love his family and his content. He is a stand up guy!
