Yeah these pre cast hollow core panels were very popular back in the day. I've worked with them before here in the states and they are a pain in the ass. Everyone ive seen was designed to capacity, although that was pretty normal for a lot of older buildings..owners dont think in the future during building construction. Just wanna save a buck

Ireland has plenty of far-right dumbfuckery of its own to be getting along with. It's not all jars of Guinness and Gerry Adams cookbooks, despite the view from America.

Maybe he mentioned this in the full show, but the schools are also falling apart. They say it's only a matter of time before kids get crushed to death. It's had to believe parents aren't in the streets, but you could say the same here in the u.s. about oh so many things...

no, you couldn't. Leftists have memed themselves into thinking everything is about to collapse Real Soon Now, but things are mostly fine here in the US, outside of violent crime in certain areas and hardcore drug use.
Both the far-left and the far-right pine for a past that never was, and in doing so feel the need to embellish just how awful everything is today.

@@lanceblankenship9995 Signs of collapse are increasingly apparent in the public sector and infrastructure throughout the US, but in ways that are easy to ignore if you're a relatively comfortable adult living in a bubble. But if you're a worker, especially if you're a front-line or otherwise essential worker or know people who are, it's nearly impossible to miss.
Schools and hospitals are chronically understaffed and underfunded, and long-time teachers and nurses are leaving en masse because they're underpaid and cannot handle the stress of dealing with the symptoms of society's problems with such little support. USPS is closing offices and plants to the point where mail that used to take a couple days to deliver can now take a week and a half.
Even in Massachusetts where voters overwhelmingly supported raising taxes on millionaires to increase funding for public education and transit, the state government slashed tax revenue elsewhere making the whole referendum pointless. The money to keep things going smooth absolutely exists, it's just the people controlling how it's spent and where it goes are going out of their way to funnel it into the police and military and keeping much of it in the hands of wealthy assholes who can afford private infrastructure.

This is repeated endlessly and yet is simply not true. Schools and hospitals are most certainly not chronically underfunded...even poor school districts in this country spend more than the average in other wealthy nations when you add in Title I federal funding, state funding, and private donations. Teachers are leaving in part because disciplinary and academic standards have dropped and many are disillusioned.
Nor is infrastructure in the US on the brink of collapse.
Stop lying about things. Dishonesty is one of the reasons few take the far left seriously.

All of the UK, Canada and Australia are under the crown. The king can abolish parliament at any time. It's not like the emperor of Japan who only carries out ceremonies. Chalres can decide at any time that Trudeu should go and he'd be gone. When it comes to total land control they're easily the biggest
