I think it was more of Porter bringing Treasure to the most supernatural, vamp and werewolf filled event in town without a waiting period.
Even with Vincent and Lovely their interactions were always outside of their lair/home and never in the presence of other vamps.
To be fair there's a big difference between starting a relationship with a human and telling them about vampires and showing one the inner workings of vampiric society that even other non vamp empowereds are not usually privy to after less than a month of meeting.

I must say, I absolutely LOVED Sam throughout the whole audio. There is clear care for Vincent and Porter and wanting them to grow up and settle their disagreement. Sam doesn’t sugarcoat or bullshit, he doesn’t hold back on Vincent and asks him the hard questions, never skipping a beat to straight up tell him how he was a infuriating little shithead back in the day. While he’s views on Porter may be mixed there is also a sense of compassion. And just hearing Sam yell in that southern accent made me feel things i didn’t know possible-but that’s beside the point. Sam is a beautiful depiction of tough love, he’s honest and straight to the point, in a way that makes you feel seen and valid. We love our cowboy

Vincent will always be one of my favorite boys and I shall protect him at all costs (just as I would do for majority of these characters) but it’s so interesting actually hearing how much of a pain he truly was before he met lovely. Also, I am JUST as excited about lovely’s hook as everyone here BUT I do wanna mention Sams honesty and calling people out on their bullshit. He’s protective over Vincent because he’s like a brother BUT he knows Vincent isn’t perfect either and had his moments too. I’ve heard his angry side with Quinn but SHIT this felt like a whole other level and the frustration of being the middle man.

I have a theory. What if at the Monarchial Summit, a situation happens that Vincent, being in charge of the summit, has to fix, and Porter, also attending, ends up helping out Vincent, which has them working together, maybe even leading to them being civil to one another in the future.
From the very beginning of the audio, my heartstrings were being pulled in all sorts of directions, especially with Vincent's emotions coming through so strongly, understandably so. The interactions we have with others can really make it or break it for us. I find it fascinating and scary all at once how quickly misunderstandings can form and what they can become for everyone involved. It breaks my heart how a misunderstanding can stir within you for so long, wanting it buried, forget it, but can easily feed on the memories, distort them, make it hurt more. I can feel Vincent's hurt, his pain, but I also feel something in Porter, resentment, for both of them, and everything else festering. How horrible to feel this way, to feel you've been treated unfairly, to have your story become distorted by falsities, too. I can understand Lovely punching Porter, I was feeling this rush of anger, not wanting to hear my love, hurting, even if it is important to clear the air. In that situation, it is hard to say what I would do, but I am protective of those I love, especially if it's the man I love. I see you, Lovely. I get it.
I'm very glad Sam took it upon himself to invite Vincent and Porter over. I feel, they really needed to face each other, voice their hurt. Hell, I respect that, they don't like each other, and that's okay. I feel this on a personal level, when it comes to family, friendships, too. Talking it over with someone doesn't mean everything is going to be sunshine and rainbows after the fact. Sometimes, people are not on the same frequency of feeling or thought, which would lead to more clashing of personalities. Naturally, this can all change with time, but I believe it is okay to simply tolerate a person, no matter the relation they have in your life. If tolerating them is not on your current agenda, that's okay, too. I feel this encounter was handled very well. I really enjoyed the reveal of each side of their story, alchemizing the current scenario, making something new. Even though I can still feel a lot of needed healing in regards to the Solaires, I appreciated Porter apologizing (both times). He is not above an apology, which shows there is sincerity in his expression. I loved the casual tone in which Porter announced his plus one and the others reaction to it, too. I'm really looking forward to the Summit.
I also love when banter is written well and it makes sense for the characters involved. Again, I have to say, this scenario was written well, acted wonderfully, too. I can feel so much emotion and it was hard not to feel for everyone. I always want to understand each side of one's story before expressing opinions, any possible judgements. I feel it would be a disservice to each of our own stories, our personal experiences as well, if we don't take the time to really evaluate all the chapters within our book, within us. Thank you, Erik, for always taking all these points into consideration. I really love how you tell a story, but also how you make one feel the story, too. Thank you for sharing your gift, your hard work, and for being you.

We know absolutely nothing about Porter's massive past traumas, so like... while yeah he can be a bit snarky, I feel like he has reasons for pushing people away with his attitude.
And I feel like, obviously not immediately, but eventually Treasure will be able to be the one Porter lets into his bubble of isolation he's made for himself.
(But either way I side with Porter because I'm biased towards sassy men :p)

The DEPTH to these characters and their dynamics holy CRAP. I love how nothing is ever black and white with your work, and even the people that are supposed to bed unlikable are ones whose point of view is comprehensible- it mirrors real-life conflict in a way I've never seen before.
