I tie several hundred bucktails a year for our boat and several others. I'm with you JT, I prefer the swing hooks for our boat but I have a lot of customers that swear by fixed hooks so I keep a stash of both. BTW- I respect your decision to not charter this year- had to do the same thing (couple of years ago) when my real job got in the way. My son really enjoys your videos and points your boat out every time you pass by us going under the RR bridge or out on the water. Tight Lines- Captain Bryan

In response to your fluke video on the two tree channel, I cleaned my fluke from the other day and it had 3 big squid whole in the belly.
Lots of squid in there right now
swing hooks seem to nag bottom more easily when fishing structure. on muddy or sandy bottom they are ok
I thought that the swing hook was for better action of the job

Yes. That as well. But we were discussing the debate about the swing hook losing fish because of the weight being free from the hook.
