Would love to see a video cleaned up and going as in depth as you decide into the pto welder. That’s a neat piece. Sweet truck and another sweet video

You know why you said we, it's cuz you knew the people were with you, especially considering you were getting a Jeep truck. I bought a 55 cj5 with a 1948 drive train that someone pulled the plugs out and they filled with dirt and water, the carb was seized up from the rust, and they took the water pump off, and the oil pan and didn't cover it. I do not understand why people do the stupid stuff like they did to your Jeep, and mine. Someone used a green highway sign, turned it green side down, and nailed it through the side of the rockers that were already patched with aluminum and rivets. I traded a set of tires, a co2 argon tank, and some car dollies i hated for it. The frame is good, and the drive line is good, and the axles are good. The other reason, is it came with a heavy top and doors made back in the early 50's. This used to be a plow jeep, has the hydraulic pump, and the mounting brackets for the plow, except the guy who was moving it picked it up by the bracketry, and bent it, but it will straighten out. My 54 m38a1 is in much better shape, but it never hurts to have spare parts. Some of the stuff won't work on the 24 volt system, but i saw kaiser willys has a 24 to 12 volt converter for anything 12 volt i may need.
I like the look of the truck, would look better with a regular bed on it. I just don't see it as a service truck in the modern world. I would like to see you restore it, because you rarely see these Jeep truck's on the road, and it would look good with a regular bed like i was saying. G-d bless.

That motor looks like a wartime L-134 from an MB. Possibly how the title got 1944 date.

I should have stopped when I drove by. Trying to get my GPS speedometer to read less than 90 MPH on our local roads.
