That is right where I was. I think it will be a little lower scoring. I didn’t name a score prediction, but that was it. Lets hunt!
Statistically we’re better on both sides of the ball, but I think the tide makes up for that with their propensity for creating turnovers and our tendency to give up turnovers. Ultimately, I think playing at Kyle Field gives the good guys just enough of an advantage to throw off Bama’s offense, combined with our extremely effective defense, allowing us to win in a close one. I could also see Bama winning the turnover battle giving them the edge to win. I wouldn’t touch this game with a 10 foot pole if I was betting.
Everything you say makes so much sense! My thought was to bet the under, then I saw it was an NFL over/under at 46. What do you think about this, both teams so hyped up for the matchup, game plan like no other and it ends up turning into a offensive grudge match?
Nah, our Defense is too good for that, right?
I think Bama has the ability to find points that make up for their offensive deficiencies in turnovers that lead to tuddys/short fields and Will Reichert kicks. Bobby P has shown that our offensive rarely leaves points out there. I’m gonna go against the grain and say bet the over in this game.
We got to play well in all three phases of this game on Saturday.
