I am always waiting for your video. lucky that the injection line was not blocked, because it made common issue for compressor failure to Daikin VRV and big duct. every compressor replacement, it's better to replace a filter of injection line. Great job!
Thanks mate, that’s nice to hear. I was talking with a mate about common issues with VRV III compressor failures and one of the main ones was that oil capillary line. Going forward, if I had to replace another one I would definitely change it out also.

Hey mate. Thanks, that’s always nice to hear. I bought it direct from Daikin Spare Parts. It cost me around $1770 I think. If you’re working on VRV/F a lot it’s well worth it. Same deal with the Mitsubishi Electric Service Tool. Bought it direct from them. Theirs only cost me $650 though (and it’s easier to use 😂)
After I filmed this I spoke to the tech who looks after this site and he mentioned that he had put 4kg into the system. I was a little thrown originally that I pulled out 35kg as I had assumed it would be lower so hearing there was extra refrigerant put in made a lot of sense. After pulling out the components I tested them. Two sets of the inverter pcb diodes were open circuit. The comp electrically tested fine but I couldn’t test it for mechanical failure.

I have version 1.4.5. But you can use that function on the older versions too. Very handy.

I wonder if they'd been having trouble with this unit someone else has been out and just added gas thinking it was low after a misdiagnosis.
