    Owning the Lectric 3.0 it is essentially the same as this. I don’t like the weight. Attempting to move, fold, lift 60+ lbs is a beast.

    Im shopping around for my first ebike for my daily commute to work. Im liking the F2 but im not sure if the ipx4 rating is enough for the rainy conditions in the metro Vancouver area. Would it be ok to use when its showering? Or maybe light rain?

      Totally. But a hundred less. And a few extras, like the mirrors. Nice!

    Is there an extended battery option?

  • @bruceschelot8667
    @bruceschelot8667 Před 19 dny

    Been thinking about getting one but I have some unanswered questions about range and how many charging cycles I could expect to get before the battery needs replacement, will the halfway mark on the power meter get you home? How far can I commute for how many days before it dies? Does the battery get weaker every charge like battery operated tools?

    • @freshlycharged
      @freshlycharged  Před 19 dny +1

      Range would really be dependent on your weight, outdoor temperature, pedal assist level, and terrain. Normally Lithium Ion batteries can take 1000+ charge cycles. If you are fully charged and go out for a ride, I would say return on 60% battery instead of 50% so you have some margin and to prevent the battery from going down to 0%. Battery longevity depends on how often you run it down to 0%, how often you charge it, and also how you store it during cold months when you aren’t using it. The less charging you can do, will help with the longevity of the battery.

    GoTrax is a horrendous company. They have an F rating with the BBB for a reason. Deal with them for any reason and you'll understand why.
