Thank you SO much, Paul, for clarifying this. And making a statement about this. Most pro carnivore doctors are demonizing fruit and won't admit that it's actually important to human health.
We are suddenly bombarded by several practitioners telling us how fruit is not what we now have compared to the original fruit our ancestors had thousands of years ago and that the taste is completely different from those fruits our ancestors ate. And further we are told today's fruit has no nutritional value.
I wonder how does anyone know how the fruit tasted thousands of years ago?
And if one tries to get as much organically grown fruits as possible, you will greatly enhance your level of health.
There are nutrients in fruit, that are simply not available in meat. Or at least not adequate for health.

For example if they lived near water they would have mostly eaten fish, if they lived in a tropical area mostly fruits and nuts, if they lived in a meadow or arid area then it would have been meat. Dr Robert Lustig has studied this. Perhaps if eaten in small quantities, in an ancestral manner, it is okay. Eating fruit is a problem for me because I am trying to lose body fat and have a slow metabolism. I tried incorporating fruit and fat loss was not noticeable in my own experience in comparison to restricting it. Since I have a slow metabolism and my goal is to lose fat, what works for me is restricting fruit to every other day and to a minimum of approximately 15 grams of carbohydrates. This is how I am able to lose body fat at a fast pace along with working out and getting adequate sleep. That said, I do feel better and have more energy to workout when I do incorporate fruit with meat and desiccated organs. Paul, I respect your commitment to pursuing the truth and your enthusiasm has brought many youth to the carnivore way. Have you considered that the reason your electrolytes were imbalanced was that you were not eating enough muscle meat? You had a very high organ consumption that did not match what would have been consumed in ancestral ratios. If you did not have a meal with enough protein in one sitting, you would not have entered gluco-neogenisis that normally knocks a carnivore out of ketosis once a day in a healthy and natural way which prevents hormonal and electrolyte imbalances. Just some food for thought.

I’ve been eating like this for a couple weeks and i feel so good
    I’ve been getting leaner
I just adapt the diet how works for me better adding veggies and a little bit of carbs like rice, pasta or even bread but only when i do some endurace sport like hiking or biking for many hours
But mostly eating like this guy and it really works well for me
Couple years ago i could think this is totally insane but now it makes a lot of sense to me

So good you had the answer to the fruit dilemma when trying to reduce and balance everything. Thank you for sharing your dietary comparisons. Do you still add in fruit at least one hour after a meat and vegetable meal so as not to upset the digestion of the meats? How do you space everything out?

Your body loves glucose and getting enough of it ensures that you are less vulnerable to the effects of stress and disease. Just because our ancestors only had access to fruit seasonally doesn't mean that it shouldn't be consumed year round, faulty logic
