  • An Amazing JMS Classic TV Celebration with Special Guests, Exclusive Interviews, Celebrating The Kids of Desilu Studios, Tina Cole who played Katie Douglas on My Three Sons, Larry Mathews who played Ritchie Petri on The Dick Van Dyke Show, Jon Provost who played Timmy Martin on Lassie and Stan Livingston who played Chip Douglas join host Jim Masters on this extra special episode of The Jim Masters Show Live entertainment, lifestyle, celebrity talk show series. Also joining the conversation is special guest Carolyn Peterson, Founder and Owner of Nite of Dreams.
Tina Cole: Early in her acting career she had a recurring role as Sunny Day in eight episodes of the detective series Hawaiian Eye (1963). In 1963, she played the minor (uncredited) role of Ruth Stewart in Palm Springs Weekend, a spring break party film set in Palm Springs, California. While her more famous role on My Three Sons was her role as Katie Miller Douglas, she also appeared previously in the series in the roles of Joanne, Ina, and as Sherry before the Katie role was created. She had single appearances in various television series in the early 1970s, To Rome with Love, The Rookies and Adam-12. In 1976 she appeared as a singer in Eleanor and Franklin, an ABC TV miniseries, and a singing appearance again in its sequel the next year. Cole was also a member from 1966 of the Four King Cousins, a subgroup quartet of the King Family Singers (which ran on ABC from 1965 to 1969).
Larry Mathews: Larry Mathews is known for his role as Ritchie Petrie on The Dick Van Dyke Show. After the series ended in 1966, Larry Mathews left acting to pursue a more conventional childhood and graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1976. He has worked as an account executive and appeared on numerous television programs to discuss his role on The Dick Van Dyke Show. Mathews reprised the role of Ritchie on The Dick Van Dyke Show Revisited (2004)
Jon Provost: In 1957, Jon Provost won the role of Timmy Martin in the CBS television series Lassie. He joined the show at the top of the fourth season as co-star with Tommy Rettig, Jan Clayton, and George Cleveland. Midway through the season, George Cleveland died and Rettig and Clayton departed. The show was revamped to focus on Provost as Timmy. The following year, he met June Lockhart on the set, who would play his mother, Ruth Martin, and would remain close friends. On December 25, 1958, Provost and Lassie were holiday guests on NBC's The Ford Show, Starring Tennessee Ernie Ford.
Stan Livingston is best known for playing Richard "Chip" Douglas, the third son of Steve Douglas (Fred MacMurray) on the television series My Three Sons. He and MacMurray were the only actors in the cast who appeared throughout the entire series. Stanley's younger brother Barry played his adopted brother "Ernie" in later seasons. With the death of Tim Considine in 2022, Livingston became the last surviving original cast member. Stanley and Barry Livingston were born in Los Angeles, California. Stanley is a producer and director in Los Angeles.
If the sets of the shows filmed at Desilu Studios could talk - what would they say about the legendary stars who performed there? Why not ask the “kids” of the Ricardos, the Petries, the Martins and Steve Douglas? On September 8th, at the resort that Desi and Lucy designed and built in 1957, Nite of Dreams™ invites you to a very special evening with the “Kids of Desilu Studios.” Join Little Ricky, Ritchie Petrie, Chip Douglas and Timmy Martin, as they transport you down memory lane, share personal stories of their time on and off the set, learn behind-the-scenes tales of working with Lucy & Desi, Fred MacMurray, William Frawley, Vivian Vance, June Lockhart, Dick Van Dyke, Mary Tyler Moore, Andy Griffith, Don Knotts and more! Enjoy cocktails, conversation, and dinner with Keith Thibodeaux, Stanley Livingston, Jon Provost and Larry Mathews in this one-of-a-kind extraordinary evening in the ballroom of the legendary Indian Wells Resort.

This was a super time together!! It is so nice and humble for these actors to come together like this, to share the good times and open up like this! It is totally endearing and ❤-warming. I just saw now that it is for charity which gives it even MORE character and class 😊. Thanks too to Carolyn for arranging this event and just to see her exuberance, is really great to see! 😄

Have had the pleasures of meeting Tina, Stanley, Jon & Larry on several occasions, at autograph shows. All of them, without a doubt, some of the truly nicest people you'll ever meet. (If the line becomes long, I always come back later!)
