    1) Avoid excessive screen time: Prolonged and uninterrupted use of digital devices such as computers, smartphones, and tablets can cause eye strain, dryness, and fatigue. Take regular breaks, practice the 20-20-20 rule (every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds), and ensure proper lighting and ergonomics when using screens.
    2) Don't ignore protective eyewear: When engaging in activities that can cause eye injury, such as sports, DIY projects, or working with hazardous materials, always wear appropriate protective eyewear like safety glasses or goggles.
    3) Steer clear of smoking: Smoking is linked to an increased risk of various eye conditions, including age-related macular degeneration (AMD), cataracts, and dry eye syndrome. Quitting smoking or avoiding exposure to secondhand smoke can help protect your eyes.
    4) Avoid rubbing your eyes: Rubbing your eyes vigorously can cause damage to the delicate tissues and increase the risk of infections. If you have an itch or irritation, use a clean tissue or gently rinse your eyes with water.
    5) Don't neglect regular eye exams: Routine eye examinations are crucial for detecting any potential eye problems or vision changes. Even if you have no apparent issues, it's recommended to have your eyes checked by an eye care professional at least once every two years, or as advised by your optometrist or ophthalmologist.
    6)Avoid inadequate lighting conditions: Insufficient lighting while reading, writing, or performing close-up tasks can strain your eyes. Ensure you have adequate, evenly distributed lighting to reduce eye strain and prevent long-term damage.
    7) Don't skip protective measures in the sun: Exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation can increase the risk of cataracts, macular degeneration, and other eye conditions. Wear sunglasses that provide 100% UV protection and a wide-brimmed hat when spending time outdoors in bright sunlight.
