- So what’s the deal with white haired anime characters and being untouchable? When looking at Accelerator from the index series and Gojo from JJK, they’ve both been described as the strongest and sit at the top of their respective universes. This is all thanks to their abilities of vector control and the limitless cursed technique which makes them virtually untouchable from all forms of harm. But that had me wondering, which of these similar abilities do the best job at protecting their users? So I’m going to put both the limitless and vector control into a variety of categories to see which one is overall the better defensive power.

Vector control actually works at subatomic level which was proven in his fight against Dark Matter.
It also attacks the 3rd demension that teleporters use.

I also wanna add that Accelerator's vector manipulation also provides him with accelerated healing as in the epilogue of OT8, it was stated that his wounds heal at an abnormally fast rate
Later in the Novels there are actually multiple magical beings that can get past Accelerator's barrier until he reverse engineers them. (And he's still not the top tier of his verse.)
Also some attacks in Toaru that don't use Vector and have Voodoo Like Properties where they just "hit" he can't reflect. (At least for now, if they propagate or are supported by some metaphysical space he might be able to reverse engineer that.)
Magical beings are the least of his worry in that regard. It took him longer to reverse-engineer Dark Matter than it did Mana or Telesma. Since he already understands the fundamental rules for both science and magic, he can deduct the behavior of anything derived from them within second. The only real threat there in that regards would be if there were to be introduced a third entirely new system.
Just like with magic, he could derive the rules for said system quickly if given the materials. But an enemy using it could get a few free shots in before he is able to analyze the nature of the attacks.
Vectorless attacks are a distinct weakness of his though. Any effect that progresses directly from cause to effect, such as Cendrillon's Glass Shoe spell, affects him directly so there is never anything to reflect.
@@themather1 neither Gojo or Regulus have Vectorless attacks though and the glass slipper spell incident happened before his contact with Qilpah 545 who likely gives him projection from that.
The Dark Matter was once again adjusted specifically to go past Accelerator's defense via exploiting his white list it wasn't just random spooky stuff that got through.
The only being that just flat out ignored Accelerator's reflection was Awiass and the Magic Gods and Imagine Breaker can turn it off
@@dpolaristar4634 Aye, yeah, I agree. And Qlippah probably gives him at least as much resistance against vectorless attacks as an experienced magician.
As for Aiwass, I think he could reflect that now. Aiwass' attacks are Thelesma, which he didn't know the rules for during their first encounter, but learned by studying the lambskin parchments as evidenced by his fight against Gabriel.
The magic gods probably used vectorless attacks beyond what Qlippah can help with.
And Imagine Breaker is Imagine Breaker.
@@themather1 He could somewhat reflect Gabriels attacks just imperfectly while Awiass slipped right through. It had more to do with Aeons and metaphysical hierarchy bs.
yeah accelerator is by a huge margin the strongest esper, and with the help of qlipa puzzle 545 has defeated coronzon, but he's still not nearly the strongest being
Actually the Dark Matter point about getting past Accelerator's reflection is wrong, Kakine was modified things that Accelerator has on his White List as Trojians that shouldn't be able to harm him (Like natural light) to give it properties that can rather than simply throwing new stuff at him, he was doing penetration testing, and every time Accelerator updated his Filter, the process would repeat until Accelerator Crack the Dark Matter itself being used to modify per-existing Matter.
Yeah, I remember Kakine said something like he covered the front of his attack with "safe materials" to get past the barrier.
Accelerator with vector control shook a whole galaxy,
Gojo with limitless could bring imaginary numbers concept into reality somewhat.

If it was just space manipulation, Gojo's domain would not function as a series of infinite information overloading the brain.

While in books accelerator has all the knowledge so in theory if curse energy exist in index universe than accelerator can manipulate it infinitely

Accelerator in the Manga also can create a black hole type feat by making all Vectors go towards a certain point, and his reflection have blocked an attack with infinite Energy and Accelerator compared in power to a different attack with the potency to Destroy an Entire Multverse, and reflecting a Sword that can cut space (Although said sword can still cut the space he himself recedes in to get around said barrier)
Also the Novel states the Plasma bomb he made is enough to complete uproot a Buried Nuclear Shelter under bedrock and could have wiped out the City he was in.
He also can use his Ability as a kind of sonar, or sonogram to access a pregnancy or sense the interior of a ship/building. Find Invisible Enemies by analyzing their interaction with the air around them, and of course reverse engineer Matter that is made from Laws of Physics that cannot naturally exist in this universe as well as Occult based magically infrastructure and energy like the earth's leylines, phases, etc.
Should be noted when in Wingmode his calculation capacity becomes limitless so the Domain Expansion wouldn't work then.
Also Accelerator's power works on a subatomic level sense he can block different bands on the EM spectrum (Ergo Ultraviolent Light and other forms of radiation but let Visible light in which are photons) Can reverse engineer Dark Matter, and manipulate electric signals to rewire a human brain (A Human brain is massively complex)
This puts him at 4-B at best.
Also, he never achieve any infinity feat

Plus don't forget the Misaka Network with the fact that Misaka Network is practically infinite and just existing in every single multiverse it could just take the blow of Unlimited Void rather than Accelerator himself just like how Sukuna King of Frauds used Megumi a highschool boy.

It's not even much of a debate. Vector Manipulation easily stomps on limitless. Everything Gojo can do can be nullified, redirected, and even curb stomped by vector manipulation because even then, his cursed techniques have vectors within it.
Accelerator also created an actual black hole in his manga.
And just like Accelerator, Gojo's not winning against Touma

Gojo basically has Spatial manipulation
And put an infinite space barrier around him therefore in theory it will never reach him while accelerator puts an passive barrier around him which reflects everything back at attacker
Both are super tier in defence but in offence accelerator has an edge gojos 3 most powerful attacks ie
Red mean pushing every thing away
Blue mean attracting everything
Purple both red and blue at same time which tear matter apart
While with accelerator imagination is the limit
Accelerator is better since he controls all vectors up to the 11th D theoretically the last dimension, while Gojo is limited to 3D
Also all of gojos attacks travel on vectors that's the insane thing about Accelerator if it travels on a vector he can manipulate it in some way.
Pretty certain dark matter goes straight through gojo's infinity as well, gojo can't adjust as fast as accelerator can.
Also in manga accelerator make black hole bends space able to hit gojo directly
Ventor controll can control everything including unknown substance like Dark Matter also Accelerator is very smart his brain is like a super computer, yes he is smarter than Gojo he is physically weaker but his overall abilities are far too OP... For example just like Gojo he have a Barrier that blocks and reflect everything Gojo's Barrier only Block everything.
Gojo's attack are base in gravity characteristics which mean Accelerator can control them plus Accelerator even learned to use Magic during the World War III Arc he is soo freaking smart.
Wouldn't Gojo's domain just give accelerator more power since it would just give him infinite knowledge about everything, that means more vectors for accelerator to control

Capsule, I have a question how would Time stop affect Infinity? Would Gojo be stopped? If he is, could the time stop user hit him? Since how you slow down a punch in Zero seconds?
I think Gojo would be able to perceive time stop and move a couple inches for a second, since Tusk also utilizes infinity in a way and could do the same. I don’t think time stop users would be able to hit Gojo though, since the concept of infinity is never ending and can’t be stopped
@@BUR404 Gojo has no feats implying he would be capable of moving at infinite speed, meaning there is no reason to think he could move in stopped time.
The barrier created by infinity would also be rendered completely ineffective, as a time stop user would meet the requirements for infinite speed, meaning they need 0 time to move past his barrier

Meanwhile every form except platinum wings accelerator, every attack accelerater makes travels and they're not infinite speed their lightspeed at best. Gojo normally blocks everything passively and the 6 eyes can process his limited energy infinitely, to make it infinite.... I doubt he would have a problem perceiving any atack accelerater does. Also he could just fight with out light and oxygen, gojo is relative to sukuna and sukuna can live with no heart, and gojo doesn't use light to "see" any way.

Area vectors exist. Accelerator could just get close to Gojo as he's showing off his ability (Like Jogo did, to touch his palm) and then reduce the area vector of Infinity.
just my opinion, but i don't think accelerator's reflect filter any harmless or harm object, but more like he calculated it, my opinion is only based on how he calculate alot of things when he wanna control the vector, like plasma, the virus on last order, etc, but the counter argument is accelerator reflect railgun and bullets out of his sight, which means it's auto reflect without him controlling it, or impossible thing such as he can think in the speed of light (railgun) or bullet
The default state of reflection is that it's reflect EVERYTHING. That's why he need to consciously let gravity pass through him so he doesn't float away

-> Gojo can trap people's mind into Infinite Void and obliterate them with his own imaginary matter "Hollow Purple"
Gojo probably can only win against Accelerator if he could trap him into his Infinite Void, otherwise the chance would be pretty slim.
Vector control most affective with contact and it doesn't work on "space". Gojo Satoru's infinity barrier is basically multiplication of layered imaginary space which means vector control in the base form isn't really affective against Gojo Satoru. Accelerator's reflector shield isn't flawless which if Gojo Satoru was to apply his infinity to his fist, one of those infinity will hit Accelerator. This is also the same weakness that was exploited by Kihara Amata against Accelerator without using any supernatural ability. So in a sense, Gojo Satoru doesn't need to use domain expansion against Accelerator.
Tree of Clorox or something exists and Accel has access to it which the range of it is atleast the whole earth which can easily break Accelerator out of Infinite Void or prevent it from functioning against him.

Not only that, he constantly adjust his fist to adapt to Accelerator barrier calculation. Gojo have no information or calculation capability to replicate what Kihara did. Adding infinio on his fist doesn't do anything as spatial attack such 11D teleportation and sword that can through space cannot even bypass Accelerator reflection.
The thing is even if gojo lands infinite void, Accelerators wings and power calculates on its own. If Gojo filled his mind with Infinite knowledge, overloading it. It wouldn't effect the Wings and Barrier Accelerator has. It would only make him stronger

People who could counteract Gojo's ability basically counter the curse energy itself or ability to nullify curse technique. Since Accelerator's ability is not curse energy based, it cannot counter it.

Magic does not follow a path, but several, so for you to be considered a powerful magician, it is not enough to have a specific powerful magic, but to have complete mastery of that path of magic. Accelerator hasn't mastered any magical paths, he knows a spell or two that can clash with a mage's magic but it's not like he can outrun one. Its wings for example are made of Thelesma, the magic of angels in Toaru, but that would only classify Accel as a Level angel and not a full angel like Aiwass which is literally an angelic entity for example. Aiwass has greater mastery over Thelesma or the wings than Accelerator, hence Aiwass > Accelerator . Not to mention the magical Gods who are the most powerful beings in Toaru, they can manipulate reality, concepts and universal or multiversal levels just with their mere presence.
Shouldnt gojo win because of his domain expasion? Accelerators brain would simply fry because of amount of information he would get, even he could handle it that definetly would make him disable his vector control and be open for an attack. Unless the wings will somehow save him, but I dont know how his wings work.
He needs to do massive amounts of calculations for all the variables that appears when manipulating a vector his wings tends to do that calculation for him in seconds

Well yeah, I wanted to do a non-traditional video where I judge who has the better ability and not who's the better fighter. The Index series spans multiple light novels, each with dozens of volumes and I admittedly haven't read all of them with Accelerator . To do a proper vs video justice, I wouldn't feel satisfied unless I knew how Accelerator had evolved in both intelligence and physical prowess, It wouldn't really be fair to use second hand or incomplete info from Wiki's. As far as how their abilities would interact, I think that would have been a bit too speculative, it falls into the same realm of time stop vs time skip. Sorry if you didn't like the video :(

Accelerator already resist the knowledge of Qliphoth and Sephiroth that are capable of destroying the mind and soul. UV will not affect him.
Accel's Plat wings can calculate infinite information, UV is literally useless
