Acutally its implied Accelerator doesn't directly alter Magnitude by changes directions of pre-existing ones, for instance in the Accelerator Manga in a room with no air currents he borrowed some rotational energy and converted it to create a whirlwind.
Oh no, he definitely can/does. What he did there was more advanced, changing the type of energy he was interacting with, into something else. Something we have not seen before, hence we got a bit of a internal monologue explaining what he was doing.

You forgot the most important thing: Accelerator evolves all the time. He now can control any vectors around him without creating magnitude by himself and this apply to not only science but also magic.
Covered alot of it, but you did miss a couple things, for example his Black and white wings which allow him to calculate vectors at a far greater rate than prenerf as well as his ability to actually use magic as well. That said, neither of which have really been explained in the anime and I'm pretty sure there isn't any instances of him using magic in the anime yet other than at the very end of Index 3 when he saved last order. Overall a pretty good basic explanation of Accelerator's abilities without it getting too confusing for the less initiated

Well, most of touma's development comes from the othinus arc in NT while accelerator was at his peak development during the OT. So, the anime had not much to work with.

Simply having gun can't defeat Touma, Imagine Breaker isn't the only thing that Touma has, and what helps him to defeat so many op enemies is not the Imagine Breaker, nor the other op mystic powers he holds, but his smartness and tactics, he defeated enemy with guns several times in the novel. Basically Index focus on how to use your wit to encounter enemy's power but not beam-to-beam fight, and the novel doesn't focus on harem too, and the anime indeed destroys the series.

And he doesn't really get injured very much even if he uses magic.

I absolutely love the videos hyping up Accelerator and proving how OP he is. Such a great character, that also had a nice redemption arc and didn't go to waste like most great villains do in any kind of plot.

Accelerator's another power is his big freaking brain, our boy calculated the secrets and physics of dark matter. Moreover a new type of dark matter in seconds that scientists know a bit in 30 years or so

Accelerator could barely do a copy paste job with last orders brains at full focus, Misaki still outdoes him in Mind control in both versatility and ease of use.
Misaki's is way more effecient becasuse he doesn't need to work out he position, direction and magnitude of the electrical signals between 100 billion brain cells.
I don't think anyone actually knows. My own theory is that Accelerator's Personal Reality changed enough that he was following his own Will according to Aleister's religion of Thelema.
From a theory I have, if accelerator is able to rewrite his reflection barriers filter system,wouldn't he be able to manipulate dark matter then? Since if he can calculate a vector, he can then manipulate it, so would it be mabye possible for accelerator to manipulate the vectors of dark matter?

Heat itself is a scalar quantity but heat Flux is a vector, that's why he's able to manipulate heat. In simpler terms, he doesn't control the heat itself, he controls the direction heat travels in.
I've never read the LN but are you saying that the 'calculation' thing is not just random gimmick but these espers are actually calculating formula in real time? I mean if yes it makes more sense cause you need to be a genius to be an esper. Most of high level esper get education from prestigious academy or program (Misaka, Kuroko, Accel) and the low or level 0 are in 'normal' school (Saten, Uiharu, Kamijo). Also who tf allowed a junior high school student to join Judgement and given all access to city surveilance if they're not smart enough to operate it. Either way, I get more fascinated by the amount of detail they put in the series.

Sound has vectors yes. Accelerator _chooses_ to let some effects through his filter, such as sunlight and sound. He can choose not to let sound in as we've seen him reflect sound before he met Last Order and in his sleep so he wouldn't be woken up.
In physics and Mathematics, to be a vector it must follow the parallelogram/triangle law of vector addition. If it doesn't it's not a vector. For example, Electric current has Direction and Magnitude, but it is not a vector as it is a scalar quantity that doesn't follow the vector law of addition. Another example would be tensors or Dyads (Stress tensors, strain tensors,etc.,)
Bleach, Final Fantasy, and Indexverse. The Holy Trinity of OP casts that get overlooked. Bleach has literal Reality Breakers (Yes Not A Robot, meaning they are Universe+ level at the least), Final Fantasy has God Killers, and Indexverse has low to mid level Reality Warpers. It still needs capability to bypass the shield even if heart was pierced before. So if heart is pierced before it needs in some way to bypass the shield after that for attack to be valid". I think you are right, it will bypass his vector shield. It isn't going to kill him tho as you've said. He've survived worse with his body of human level durability not to mention his angel body.

Yeah he reflected a planet or more powerful attack called the magick flaming sword, which could only be done if he had its knowledge.
Currently Accelerator can reflect all aeon based magic and he has fully analysed both the tree of sephriroth and qliphoth(basically the tree of life and death)
The great demon coronzon even stated Accelerator to be a star student or something like a prodigy in magic..
And he doesn't really get injured very much even if he uses magic.

You are right about misakis powers being easier to do but Accel has more precision and control over liquads the her.

Heat itself is a scalar quantity but heat Flux is a vector, that's why he's able to manipulate heat. In simpler terms, he doesn't control the heat itself, he controls the direction heat travels in.

I've never read the LN but are you saying that the 'calculation' thing is not just random gimmick but these espers are actually calculating formula in real time? I mean if yes it makes more sense cause you need to be a genius to be an esper. Most of high level esper get education from prestigious academy or program (Misaka, Kuroko, Accel) and the low or level 0 are in 'normal' school (Saten, Uiharu, Kamijo). Also who tf allowed a junior high school student to join Judgement and given all access to city surveilance if they're not smart enough to operate it. Either way, I get more fascinated by the amount of detail they put in the series.

Sound has vectors yes. Accelerator _chooses_ to let some effects through his filter, such as sunlight and sound. He can choose not to let sound in as we've seen him reflect sound before he met Last Order and in his sleep so he wouldn't be woken up.
In physics and Mathematics, to be a vector it must follow the parallelogram/triangle law of vector addition. If it doesn't it's not a vector. For example, Electric current has Direction and Magnitude, but it is not a vector as it is a scalar quantity that doesn't follow the vector law of addition. Another example would be tensors or Dyads (Stress tensors, strain tensors,etc.,)

Its conceptual in a way that it will most definitely ignore Accel's barrier.
Mind you, even if Gae Bolg's shtick connects that won't actually kill Accel anyways so it doesn't matter

@@chestertamayo1894 Well I gave a second thought about Gae Bolg. My mind process was basically "The lance just doesn't need aim. It still needs capability to bypass the shield even if heart was pierced before. So if heart is pierced before it needs in some way to bypass the shield after that for attack to be valid". I think you are right, it will bypass his vector shield. It isn't going to kill him tho as you've said. He've survived worse with his body of human level durability not to mention his angel body.
